Overview

Luxury Presence websites are built on a proprietary platform hosted on Amazon Web Services — not on WordPress or any other third-party CMS. If your website is live on the Presence® Platform, you do not need a WordPress subscription to keep it running.

If you have been paying for a recurring WordPress subscription and your site is fully hosted by Luxury Presence, you can safely cancel that subscription without affecting your Luxury Presence website.

How Luxury Presence hosts your website

Your Luxury Presence website runs on the Presence® Platform. Your plan includes:

  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) hosting — reliable cloud infrastructure managed by Luxury Presence
  • DNS management via Cloudflare — Luxury Presence manages your domain's DNS so your site stays fast and secure
  • SSL certificate — HTTPS security is included and managed automatically
  • 24/7 uptime monitoring — Luxury Presence monitors your site around the clock
  • Ongoing platform updates — new features and improvements are released regularly

None of this requires a WordPress account.

When you can cancel your WordPress subscription

If all of the following are true, you can safely cancel your WordPress subscription:

  • Your website is live and running on the Presence® Platform (you log in at app.luxurypresence.com)
  • You are not using WordPress to host a separate blog or additional website outside of Luxury Presence
  • You are not using your WordPress account to manage your domain registration

Important: If your domain is registered through WordPress.com or Squarespace (formerly Google Domains), do not cancel that account — you still need it to maintain your domain registration. Your hosting and your domain registration are two separate things. Canceling your domain registration would take your site offline.

How to confirm Luxury Presence is hosting your website

To verify Luxury Presence is managing your domain and hosting:

  1. Go to whois.com/whois.
  2. Enter your domain name and run the search.
  3. Check the Name Servers field in the results.

If the name servers match one of these Luxury Presence Cloudflare pairs, your domain is hosted by Luxury Presence:

Will canceling my WordPress subscription take my Luxury Presence website offline?

No — canceling a WordPress subscription will not affect your Luxury Presence website, as long as you are not using WordPress to host a separate site or to manage your domain registration. Your Luxury Presence website runs independently on the Presence® Platform. If your domain is registered through WordPress.com, keep that subscription active to preserve your domain.

I've been paying WordPress every month. Is that charge related to Luxury Presence?

A charge from WordPress is not a Luxury Presence charge — it is a separate subscription for WordPress hosting or services. If your site is hosted by Luxury Presence, you do not need this subscription for your Luxury Presence website. Contact our support team if you'd like help confirming what your plan includes.

Can I use WordPress plugins or themes on my Luxury Presence website?

No — Luxury Presence websites run on the Presence® Platform, not WordPress. WordPress plugins and themes are not compatible with the Presence® Platform. The platform has its own built-in features and integrations. Contact our support team to learn what's available.

I use WordPress for my blog — can I connect it to my Luxury Presence website?
