How to edit press releases in Presence®

How to update an existing press release in the Presence® Platform.

Overview

You can edit press releases at any time directly in the Presence® Platform. Changes publish immediately when you click Save.

How to edit a press release

1. Navigate to the Presence® Platform.
2. In the left-hand menu, click Content to expand the submenu, then select Press Releases.
3. Use the search bar to find the press release, or scroll through the list and click on it to open the editor.
4. Update any of the following fields as needed:
   • Title
   • Author Image
   • Description
   • Publisher
   • Publishing Date
   • Categories
5. Click Save in the top-right corner.

Your changes publish to your live website immediately.

FAQs

Do changes go live immediately when I save?

Yes. Clicking Save publishes your changes to the live website immediately with no delay or approval process.

Can I add new press releases from the same location?

Yes. Navigate to Content → Press Releases and click Add New to create a new press release. For more on displaying press releases on your website, see [How to add press elements to your Presence® website].

What's the difference between editing a press release here and updating press display on my website?

Editing a press release in Content → Press Releases updates the content of the press release itself — the title, description, publisher, and other details. How press releases are displayed on your website pages is controlled separately through press elements in the Website Builder. See [How to add press elements to your Presence® website].
