How to display agents on your website in Presence®

How to control which agents appear on your team pages and in what order.

Overview

Luxury Presence offers flexible options for managing team pages and profiles. You can choose between a custom team page setup or a standard (auto-generated) setup, depending on your needs. Additionally, you can customize team pages and assign website access to team members or profiles.

For most Presence® websites, agents appear automatically on team pages as soon as you create their profiles in Content → Agents. However, some websites use custom team layouts that require you to manually select which agents appear and in what order. 

Luxury Presence provides two main setups for team pages: custom and standard. Custom setups require manual updates for adding or removing agents, while standard setups automatically update team pages based on the agents added under Content → Agents.

How to tell if you have a custom layout: If you create a new agent and they don't appear on your team page within a few minutes, your website likely uses a custom team layout and requires manual selection. This distinction between custom and standard setups helps determine whether manual selection is necessary for your website.

How to manually add an agent to a team page

If a new agent isn't appearing automatically, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to the Presence® Platform.
2. Click Websites from the left-hand menu, then hover over the site you want to edit and select the pen icon.
3. Use the page dropdown in the top-left corner to select the page with your team section — typically "About," "Team," or "Meet the Team."
4. Click Edit in the top-right corner.
5. Click on the team section element to open the settings panel on the left.
6. Scroll to the Filter & Sort section.
7. In the Order Agents dropdown, select the agents you want to add. A checkmark will appear next to each selected agent.
8. Click Save in the top-right corner.

The selected agents will appear on your website immediately.

How to reorder agents on a team page

Follow steps 1–6 above to access the Order Agents dropdown, then click and drag the six-dots icon next to an agent's name to change their position. Click Save.

How to remove an agent from a team page

Follow steps 1–6 above to access the Order Agents dropdown, then click the X next to the agent's name you want to remove. Click Save.

Note: Removing an agent from the team page only removes them from that page's display — it does not delete their profile from the CMS. The agent still exists in Content → Agents and can be re-added at any time.

Can I show different agents on different pages?

Yes. Each team section element on each page has its own independent agent selection. To show different agents on different pages — for example, a "Leadership Team" page and a "Full Team" page — follow the manual add steps above on each page separately and select the appropriate agents for each.

Troubleshooting: agent not appearing on the website

New agent isn't showing anywhere on the site

1. Verify the agent profile is saved — go to Content → Agents and confirm the agent exists
2. Check your team section's Filter & Sort settings — go to the page with your team section, click Edit, click on the team element, and review the Filter & Sort section. If filters are limiting display by title, office, or other criteria, the new agent may not match those filters — adjust or remove the restriction to include them
3. Clear your browser cache — try viewing the site in an incognito or private browsing window

If you have admin access, ensure that the team profile and subdomain settings are correctly linked to the team account. This can help resolve display issues related to team member visibility.

Agent was manually added but still isn't showing

Confirm you clicked Save after adding the agent in the Order Agents dropdown. Return to the page editor, click on the team section, and verify the agent is selected with a checkmark.

FAQs

Do agents automatically appear on my website when I create their profile?

For most websites, yes — new agent profiles appear on team pages automatically. If your website uses a custom team layout, you'll need to manually add agents using the steps above.

Does removing an agent from my team page delete their profile?

No. Removing an agent from a team page only removes them from that page's display. Their profile remains in Content → Agents and can be re-added at any time. To permanently delete an agent, see [How to remove an agent from your website in Presence®].

Can I show different agents on different team pages?

Why is a specific agent not showing even though they're selected?

Check the Filter & Sort settings on the team section element. If the section is filtered by title, office, or another criterion, the agent may not meet those filter requirements. Remove or adjust the filter to include them.
