How to show or hide filters in the Home Search Tool

How to show or hide filters across all your websites and apps, or customize them per site.

Important: This feature is only available on desktop. It is not accessible through the Luxury Presence Mobile App.

Overview

You can manage which Home Search filters are visible across all your websites and apps from a single account-level setting — or override those settings for individual sites.

How to access filter settings

  1. Navigate to the Presence® Platform.
  2. Click your name or initials in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen.
  3. Select Settings from the menu.
  4. Click Home Search Settings.
  5. Click Edit Filter Settings.

How to show or hide filters

Filters are organized into categories in the left-hand panel, including Status, Price, Bedrooms, Bathrooms, Property types, Listing status, Tours, Move in date, Property details, Costs, Property features, and Advanced.

  • Click any category to expand it and reveal a toggle you can use to turn that filter on or off.
  • The Advanced category holds a long list of more specific filters — such as Architectural Style, Accessibility Features, Pool Features, and many others — each with its own toggle, so you can turn several off at once without leaving the section.
  • Move in date only applies to rental properties.

Turning a filter off removes it everywhere — your website, apps, and preview modes.

A live, non-interactive preview on the right side of the page shows exactly how your current filter settings appear to visitors, updating as you make changes.

Note: The specific values available within a filter depend on the MLS feeds connected to a site — a filter can only show values that your connected MLS data actually supports.

Apply changes to all sites or customize per site

At the top of the filter settings page, a dropdown defaults to All websites and apps — meaning any changes you make apply across every website and app on your account.

To customize filters for a specific site instead:

  1. Click the All websites and apps dropdown at the top of the filter settings page.
  2. Select the specific website you want to adjust.
  3. Make your changes — these will override the account-level settings for that site only.

FAQs

Do filter changes apply to both my website and the mobile app?

Yes. Account-level filter settings apply across all websites and apps. If you need different filters on a specific site, use the site-level dropdown to override the account settings for that site only.

Can I hide custom filters like Architectural Style?

Yes. Filters like Architectural Style live in the Advanced category and can be toggled off individually, along with dozens of other specific filters.

How do I see what values are available for a specific filter?

Click into the filter's category to expand it and view its available values — for example, clicking Bathrooms shows options like Any, 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5+. Keep in mind the specific values shown depend on what your connected MLS feeds support.

Is this the same setting as customizing the map or MLS data for a site?
