How to set up a business email using your domain name

How to create a custom email address and connect it to your domain hosted by Luxury Presence.

Overview

Luxury Presence does not create or provide custom email addresses. However, if Luxury Presence hosts your domain, our team can add the DNS records needed to verify and connect your email once you've set up an account with a third-party email provider.

Step 1: Choose an email provider

Your domain registrar (where you purchased your domain) often offers email as an add-on — providers like GoDaddy and Squarespace both have this option. You can also use a separate email provider. Google Workspace is a popular choice for business email and integrates well with other Google tools.

Once you've selected a provider and created your account, they will give you a set of DNS records to verify your domain.

Step 2: Confirm who hosts your domain

Before contacting support, confirm whether Luxury Presence hosts your domain:

  1. Go to whois.com/whois.
  2. Enter your domain name and check the Name Servers.

If your name servers match a Luxury Presence pair, proceed to Step 3. If they match Side, contact your Side Business Manager for DNS changes — Luxury Presence cannot make changes to Side-hosted domains.

Step 3: Share your DNS records with Luxury Presence

Once you have your DNS records from your email provider and have confirmed Luxury Presence hosts your domain, contact our support team. We'll add the records to your Cloudflare configuration on your behalf.

DNS record types we can add: MX (email routing), TXT (domain verification), and CNAME (additional configurations).

Note: It can take up to 48 hours for your email to fully connect after the DNS records are added, though most clients experience connectivity within 10 minutes.

FAQs

Does Luxury Presence create or manage email accounts?

No. Luxury Presence handles DNS configuration only — we add the records your email provider requires to verify and connect your domain. Creating and managing the actual email account is handled by your chosen provider.

What if I'm not sure who hosts my domain?

Check your name servers at whois.com/whois and compare them to the table above. If you're still unsure, contact our support team and we'll confirm.

How long does it take for my email to work after DNS records are added?

Most clients see connectivity within 10 minutes. Full propagation can take up to 48 hours in some cases.

What if my domain is hosted by Side?

If your name servers are kate.ns.cloudflare.com and piotr.ns.cloudflare.com, your domain is hosted by Side. Contact your Side Business Manager for DNS changes — Luxury Presence cannot make changes to Side-hosted domains.
