How to add and manage private listings in the Brokerage Listing Network

How to add, edit, mark as sold, remove, and delete private listings in the Brokerage Listing Network.

Overview

Private listings in the Brokerage Listing Network are visible only within your brokerage. Each listing has a status of Share (draft, not yet shared) or Shared (live and visible in the network). You can manage all your private listings from the My Private Listings tab.

How to add a private listing

1. Navigate to the Presence® Platform.
2. In the left-hand menu, click the Listing Network icon.
3. Click Share Private Listing in the top-right corner.
4. Confirm or update the Listing Agent.
5. Enter the required details:
   • Address — select Make Address Private to show only the city
   • Price — select Make Price Private to display "Price Upon Request"
6. Click Share Private Listing to publish within your brokerage network.

Note: The Share Private Listing button remains grayed out until the Listing Agent, Address, and Price fields are all filled in.

Once shared, the listing appears in the Private Listings tab for all agents in your brokerage, and you'll receive notifications when another agent inquires about it.

How to edit a private listing

1. Navigate to the Presence® Platform.
2. In the left-hand menu, click Listing Network, then select My Private Listings.
3. Click anywhere on the listing row, or click the three-dots icon on the right and select Edit.
4. Make your changes and click Save in the top-right corner.

How to mark a private listing as sold

1. In the My Private Listings tab, find the listing.
2. Click the three-dots icon on the right.
3. Select Mark as Sold.

How to remove a private listing from the network

Removing a listing moves it from Shared status back to Share (draft) — it is saved for future use but is no longer visible to other agents.

1. In the My Private Listings tab, find the listing.
2. Click the three-dots icon on the right.
3. Select Remove from Network.

How to delete a private listing

1. In the My Private Listings tab, find the listing.
2. Click the three-dots icon on the right.
3. Select Delete to permanently remove it.

FAQs

What's the difference between "Share" and "Shared" status?

Share means the listing is a draft — it has not yet been published to the network. Shared means it is live and visible to all agents in your brokerage.

Can I share multiple private listings at once?

No. Listings must be shared one at a time.

What happens when a private listing becomes an MLS listing?

You must manually remove or update the private listing in the CMS to avoid creating a duplicate listing.

Why is the Share Private Listing button grayed out?

The button is disabled until all required fields are completed — Listing Agent, Address, and Price. Fill in all three to enable it.
