How to Update Lead Alert Email Addresses

Introduction

When someone submits a contact form or lead capture on your website, the Presence™ Platform automatically sends a lead alert email. To ensure timely follow-up, it’s essential that these alerts go to the right people.

This guide walks you through how to update the email addresses that receive lead notifications.

Note: Only users with the Admin role can make changes to lead alert email recipients.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Navigate to the Presence™ Platform.
2. Click your name or initials in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen.
3. Select Settings from the menu.
4. On the My Profile page, locate the Lead Alert Emails field.
5. Click the “X” next to any existing email address you want to remove.
6. To add a new email address:
   • Type the email into the field
     • Press Enter — the email will turn black once accepted
     • Important: If you don’t press Enter, the change won’t save.
7. Click Save Changes to apply the update.
