How to create a property website before a listing syncs in Presence®

How to market a new listing with a property website before it appears in your MLS sync.

Overview

If a new listing hasn't synced to your Presence® account yet, you can still create a property website immediately by manually adding the listing first. Once the listing syncs, you can reassign the website to the synced version in a few clicks.

Step 1: Manually add the listing

Add the property to your Presence® account manually so you have something to build the website on. See [How to add a property listing to your Presence® website] for full instructions.

Step 2: Create the property website

Once the listing is manually added, create the property website as you normally would. See [How to build and launch a property website in Presence®] for full instructions.

Step 3: Reassign to the synced listing after it appears

Once the listing syncs from the MLS, update the website to pull from the synced version instead of the manual entry:

1. Navigate to the Presence® Platform.
2. Click Websites from the left-hand menu.
3. Find the property website you want to update.
4. Hover over it and click the three-dots icon.
5. Select Change Property from the dropdown.
6. In the pop-up, select the synced property.
7. Click Confirm.

The website will update to reflect the synced listing automatically.

Do I need to rebuild the website after the listing syncs?

No. Use Change Property to reassign the existing website to the synced listing — the site design and layout remain intact. Review property-specific content after switching to confirm all details are accurate.

What if the listing syncs before I've finished building the website?

You can still follow Step 3 at any time after the listing appears in Presence®. There's no deadline — reassign whenever you're ready.
