What do users receive when they sign up on the Home Search Tool?

Users receive two emails upon signing up:

• Welcome email — introduces the Home Search Tool and helps them get started
• Daily Listing Alert email — ongoing updates with new listings, price changes, and status changes matching their search criteria

What search criteria are applied to the initial saved search?

The saved search is based on the location the user selected or drew on the map. If no specific location was chosen, it defaults to the area visible on their screen at the time of sign-up. Any filters they applied — such as bedroom count — are also included. If the user accessed the tool via a pre-configured link with search criteria, those criteria carry over into their saved search automatically.

What if a user clicks "Save Search" and is then prompted to create an account?

In this case, users are not automatically enrolled in an additional saved search. This prevents duplicate searches from being created in their account — the search they manually saved is the one that's retained.

Can users unsubscribe from listing alert emails?

Yes. An Unsubscribe button is included in the footer of every listing alert email. If that doesn't work, see [How to opt out of Home Search Tool email notifications in Presence®] for additional steps.

Can users edit their saved search criteria?

Yes. Users can edit their saved searches at any time from the Saved Searches page within the Home Search Tool.

Can agents customize the content of the listing alert emails?

Currently, agents cannot customize the body content of auto-enrollment listing alert emails — they follow a standard template. Agents can customize the sender name, reply-to email, and subject line for agent-created saved searches. See [How to customize the sender and subject line of listing alert emails in Presence®].

Who appears as the email sender for auto-enrollment saved searches?

The sender name is pulled from the agent's name configured in the site's general notification settings. The reply-to email address is also set in those same settings.
