Overview

AI Lead Nurture is an automated lead engagement tool built into Presence® CRM. When a new lead submits their information, the AI Lead Nurture Specialist — named Alex by default — sends a personalized text message within three minutes and continues following up until the lead is ready to connect with an agent.

Important: AI Lead Nurture is included on Scale and Signature plans and available as an add-on for Launch and Brand plan customers.

How AI Lead Nurture works

Instant engagement

The moment a lead submits their information — through a contact form, home search sign-up, or another entry point — Alex sends an SMS text message within three minutes. Alex then continues the conversation to qualify the lead and collect key information.

What Alex collects

Alex identifies whether the lead is a buyer, seller, or renter, then gathers relevant details:

Buyers: Readiness level, preferred location, budget, beds and baths, financing status, owner contingency, buying timeline, buyer's agent commitment, and appointment availability.

Sellers: Selling address, seller's agent commitment, and appointment availability.

Renters: Preferred location, budget, beds and baths, timeframe, agent commitment, and appointment availability.

Follow-up cadence

If a lead doesn't respond, Alex sends up to 30 follow-up messages over 12 months. Nurture messages are sent between 9am–6pm PT. Replies from leads are handled in real time.

Lead enrollment requirements

A lead is automatically enrolled in AI Lead Nurture if they provide a valid U.S. mobile phone number that can receive text messages.

A lead will not be enrolled if they provide no phone number, an invalid number, a landline, a VoIP number, an international number, or if they opted out of SMS on the lead capture form.

Google Sign-On leads: If a lead signs in via Google and doesn't provide a phone number at signup, Alex will begin messaging once a valid phone number is obtained.

How Alex qualifies leads

Alex uses AI to engage leads in natural conversation, collecting information and assessing intent. Alex can answer general real estate questions, discuss listing details and market conditions, help schedule viewings or consultations, and understand buyer and seller preferences.

Alex cannot access MLS data and cannot provide specific property details. If a lead requests specific property information, Alex notifies the agent to follow up directly.

How handoff to agents works

When a lead is ready, Alex smoothly transitions the conversation to an agent. Common handoff triggers include:

• A buyer shares their preferences and Alex lets the lead know someone from the team will set up a saved search
• The lead requests agent contact
• The lead expresses interest in scheduling an appointment or call
• The lead asks a question Alex cannot answer

When a lead reaches Needs Follow-Up status, Alex sends an email and text notification to the assigned agent with a conversation summary and a direct link to the lead's profile in the Presence® Platform. Notifications are sent from 515-375-0631.

TCPA compliance

AI Lead Nurture is fully TCPA-compliant. It only engages with leads who have opted in — typically by filling out a form. The system includes built-in safeguards to maintain compliance and prevent messages from being filtered by carriers.
