How can I resolve issues with adding or editing hyperlinks?

Make links visually clickable in your content by adding underline formatting and updating your sitewide hyperlink color.

Important: This feature is only available on desktop. It is not accessible through the Luxury Presence Mobile App.

Overview

If you've added a link to a page description, bio, or other content field and it doesn't look clickable to visitors — no underline, no color difference — the link is there, it just needs visual styling applied. You can fix this in two ways: underline the link text directly in the content editor, and update your site's hyperlink color in Website Styles.

How to underline a link in the content editor

This applies to any content type with a rich text editor — neighborhood descriptions, blog posts, agent bios, developments, and more.

  1. Navigate to the Presence® Platform.
  2. Go to the content item where you added the link — for example, in the left-hand menu click Content to expand the submenu, then select the relevant content type (such as Neighborhoods, Blog Posts, or Agents).
  3. Open the specific item from the list.
  4. In the content field, select the link text you want to underline.
  5. Click the U (underline) button in the rich text toolbar.
  6. Click Save.

How to update your hyperlink color sitewide

If your hyperlinks aren't displaying in a distinct color across your site, update the hyperlink color in Website Styles:

  1. Navigate to the Presence® Platform.
  2. Click Websites from the left-hand menu, then hover over the site you want to edit and select the pen icon.
  3. In the white top navigation bar, click the Website Styles icon (the Paint Can icon).
  4. Select Buttons from the left-hand menu.
  5. Select Hyperlink.
  6. Update the link color to match your brand using the color picker or a HEX code.
  7. Click Save.

FAQs

Why doesn't my link look clickable after I paste it?

Pasted links carry the content but not the visual styling — visitors won't see an underline or color change unless you apply those manually. Use the underline button in the content editor and update your hyperlink color in Website Styles to make links clearly visible.

Will formatting changes affect all pages or just the one I edited?

Underlining a link in the content editor only affects that specific content item. Updating the hyperlink color in Website Styles applies sitewide to all pages.
