How to duplicate and reuse a property website as a template

How to duplicate an existing property website and repurpose it for a new listing.

Important: This feature is only available on desktop. It is not accessible through the Luxury Presence Mobile App.

Overview

You can duplicate any existing property website and reassign it to a new property — saving time and maintaining consistent design across your listings without rebuilding from scratch each time.

How to duplicate a property website

  1. Navigate to the Presence® Platform.
  2. Click Websites from the left-hand menu.
  3. Find the property website you want to use as a template.
  4. Hover over it and click the three-dots icon.
  5. Select Duplicate from the dropdown.
  6. Enter the new property address or a placeholder name for the duplicate.
  7. Click Duplicate.

Note: Use the Website Type dropdown at the top of the list to filter by Property Website if you have multiple website types and want to narrow the list first.

Tip: The same three-dot menu also includes Change Property and Rename — you'll use Change Property on the new duplicate in the next step, and Rename to update the placeholder name shown on the card.

How to assign the duplicate to a new property

  1. Navigate to the Presence® Platform.
  2. Click Websites from the left-hand menu.
  3. Hover over the newly duplicated website and click the three-dots icon.
  4. Select Change Property from the dropdown.
  5. In the pop-up, choose the property you want to associate with the website.
  6. Click Confirm.

How to edit and publish the new website

  1. Navigate to the Presence® Platform.
  2. Click Websites from the left-hand menu, then hover over the duplicated website and select the pen icon.
  3. Click the Edit button in the top-right corner to enter edit mode.
  4. Update all property-specific details — description, photos, amenities, and any other listing content.
  5. Click Save.
  6. Click Publish when ready to go live.

FAQs

Do I need to update property details after duplicating?

Yes, the duplicate copies the layout and design of the original site — not the property content. After assigning the new property, update all listing-specific details including description, photos, and amenities before publishing.

Can I use any property website as a template?

Yes, any existing property website can be duplicated and repurposed. Many agents create a dedicated template site specifically for duplication — a site with their preferred layout, branding, and elements already in place — so each new site starts from a clean, consistent foundation.

Does duplicating a website also duplicate the property listing in the CMS?

No, duplicating a property website only copies the website layout. The property listing in Content → Properties is separate and not affected.

How do I assign the new property to my duplicated website?

Hover over the duplicated website, click the three-dots icon, and select Change Property. Choose the property you want to associate with the website in the pop-up, then click Confirm.
