Do I need to purchase a domain before creating a property website?

Create a standalone property website on a custom domain you own, or use a free Luxury Presence subdomain — included in all plans.

Important: This feature is only available on desktop. It is not accessible through the Luxury Presence Mobile App.

Overview

Yes — Luxury Presence offers property websites, standalone single-page listing sites built to market one property. Every property website can be published on a custom domain you purchase (e.g., 456oceanviewdrive.com), or on a free subdomain at no extra cost. Property websites are included in all Luxury Presence plans with no limit on how many you can create.

Note: Luxury Presence does not sell domain names. To use a custom domain, purchase it from a third-party registrar — GoDaddy, Squarespace, or Namecheap are recommended — then connect it to your property website inside the Presence® Platform.

What's included with a property website

• A dedicated listing site — A focused, single-page site designed entirely around one property, separate from your main agent website
• Custom domain support — Publish on any domain you own (e.g., 123mainstreet.com) for a premium, branded experience
• Free subdomain option — Publish instantly using a free subdomain (e.g., 123-main-st.luxurypresence.com) — no domain purchase required
• Full Website Builder access — Add videos, image sliders, virtual tour embeds, lead capture forms, neighborhood sections, and more
• Ideal for paid ads — Property websites are purpose-built as high-converting landing pages for Google, Facebook, and Instagram campaigns
• Included at no extra cost — Property websites are available on all Luxury Presence plans with no additional charge

How to create a property website on a custom domain

1. Navigate to the Presence® Platform.
2. In the left-hand menu, click Content to expand the submenu, then select Properties.
3. Use the search bar to find a specific property, or click the property from the list.
4. Hover over the listing, click the three-dots icon, and select Create website — or click the globe icon in the upper-right corner of the listing.
5. Choose a design template: The Pinnacle or The Edge.
6. Click Edit to customize your site — add images, video, a lead capture form, and any other content.

Note: Most listing details — price, beds, baths, and similar fields — must be edited in the Property Content section, not directly on the website.

1. Click Save when finished.
2. Click Publish in the top-right corner.
3. In the Publish panel, select Custom Domain.
4. Enter the domain you purchased and click Search.
5. If the domain shows as "not configured," connect it using one of these options:

• Manage My Domain (recommended) — Copy the provided nameservers into your domain registrar settings, then click Publish
• Update DNS Records — Add the provided DNS records to your registrar settings, then click Publish

Note: It can take up to 24–48 hours for the domain to fully propagate after publishing.

Tip: Use GoDaddy, Squarespace, or Namecheap to purchase your domain. Avoid Wix — Wix domains are difficult to connect to the Presence® Platform and may cause publishing delays. If the Free Subdomain option appears grayed out instead, see How to publish a property website without the free subdomain option.

FAQs

Does Luxury Presence sell domain names?

Luxury Presence does not sell domain names. To use a custom domain for your property website, purchase it from a third-party registrar such as GoDaddy, Squarespace, or Namecheap, then connect it to your property website inside the Presence® Platform.

What if I don't want to purchase a domain — can I still launch my property website?

Yes, you can publish any property website for free using a subdomain (e.g., 123-main-st.luxurypresence.com) — no domain purchase required. Select the Free Subdomain option in the Publish panel to customize and launch immediately. If that option appears grayed out, see How to publish a property website without the free subdomain option.

How much does a property website cost?

Property websites are included in all Luxury Presence plans at no additional charge. There is no limit on how many you can create.

How is a property website different from my main agent website?

Your main agent website represents your entire business — it includes multiple pages, your bio, your full listing inventory, SEO content, and more. A property website is a focused, single-page site designed to market one specific listing. They are separate sites that complement each other: use your main agent website for long-term brand presence and SEO, and use property websites to spotlight individual listings and run paid ad campaigns.

Can I use my property website as a landing page for paid ads?

Yes, property websites are purpose-built for this. Their focused, single-page layout and clean calls to action make them high-converting landing pages for Google, Facebook, Instagram, and other ad platforms.
