How to add new contacts and manage multiple contacts at once using the Luxury Presence Mobile App.

Overview

In the Luxury Presence Mobile App, you can add contacts manually or import them from your phone's contacts list. Bulk actions — assign, archive, and unarchive — let you manage multiple contacts at once. Bulk actions require an Admin or Member role.

How to add a new contact

Tap the + button in the top-right corner of the contacts list and choose your method:

• Add Manually — fill in the contact form
• Import from Contacts — select from your phone's contact list

Adding a contact manually

At least one of the following is required: first name, last name, email address, or phone number.

Photo: Tap the camera icon to take a photo or choose from your library. Camera and photo permissions are required on first use.

Basic information: First name, last name, location, and Contact Type (defaults to Lead — options are Lead, Active Client, Past Client, Agent, or Other).

Email addresses: Tap Add email to add one or more email addresses. Select a label — Primary, Work, Personal, or Other. Email format is validated automatically.

Phone numbers: Tap Add phone number to add one or more numbers. Select a label — Primary, Mobile, Work, Home, or Other. Must be at least 10 digits.

Tap Done to save.

Importing a contact from your phone

1. Tap the + button in the top-right corner.
2. Select Import from Contacts.
3. Grant contacts permission if prompted (first time only).
4. Search or scroll to find the contact.
5. Select them and review the pre-filled information.
6. Make any adjustments needed.
7. Tap Done to save.

The import automatically fills in name, email, phone, and photo if available in your phone's contacts.

How to select contacts for bulk actions

1. Tap the Edit button (pencil icon) in the top-right corner to enter selection mode.
2. Tap any contact card to select it — a checkmark appears.
3. Tap again to deselect.
4. The selection count updates in the header (e.g., "5 selected").

Once contacts are selected, a floating action bar appears at the bottom with available actions.

Tap Done or Clear all in the top-right corner to exit selection mode. All selections are cleared automatically when you exit.

Available bulk actions

Important: Bulk actions are only available to Admin and Member users. Guest users cannot perform bulk actions.

For active contacts:

• Assign — assign selected contacts to team members
• Archive — move selected contacts to the Archived view

For archived contacts:

• Unarchive — restore selected contacts to the active list

How to assign contacts to a team member

1. Enter selection mode by tapping Edit.
2. Select the contacts you want to assign.
3. Tap Assign in the action bar.
4. Choose the Agent or User tab and select the assignee(s).
5. Tap Confirm.

How to archive contacts

1. Enter selection mode by tapping Edit.
2. Select the contacts you want to archive.
3. Tap Archive in the action bar.
4. Confirm the action.

Archived contacts are removed from your active contacts list but remain accessible in the Archived view. Switch to the Archived view using the main filter to access them.

How to unarchive contacts

1. Switch to the Archived view using the main filter.
2. Enter selection mode by tapping Edit.
3. Select the contacts you want to unarchive.
4. Tap Unarchive in the action bar.
5. Confirm the action.

Selected contacts return to the active contacts list immediately.

Troubleshooting: bulk action buttons not appearing

• Check your role — bulk actions require Admin or Member access. Guest users cannot perform bulk actions
• Confirm contacts are selected — the action bar only appears after at least one contact is selected
• Check your current view — Unarchive only appears when viewing the Archived contacts view, not the active contacts list

FAQs

Who can perform bulk actions in the Luxury Presence Mobile App?

Admin and Member users can perform bulk actions. Guest users do not have access even after selecting contacts.

Can I import multiple contacts from my phone at once?

The import flow selects one contact at a time. To add multiple contacts from your phone, repeat the import process for each one, or use bulk actions after importing to organize them.

What happens to archived contacts?

Archived contacts are removed from your active list but retain all history and data. They're accessible in the Archived view and can be unarchived at any time.

Why can't I see the Unarchive button?

Unarchive only appears when you're viewing the Archived contacts view. Switch to Archived using the main filter, then enter Edit mode to see the Unarchive option.
