How to create and manage lists in your contacts table

Organize your contacts into saved views using custom filters and column layouts.

Important: Creating and managing lists is only available on desktop. However, lists you've created on your desktop can be used to filter your contacts in the Luxury Presence Mobile App.

Overview

Lists let you create saved views of your contacts table by combining filters and column settings into a named view you can return to at any time. The Presence® Platform includes a set of default lists — All, Leads, Clients, Enriched, Website Leads, Email Sync Contacts, Agents, and Vendors — and you can create as many custom lists as you need. Lists are personal to your account and are not shared with other users.

Each list saves:

  • Active filters applied to the contacts table
  • Column visibility — which columns are shown or hidden
  • Column order — the arrangement of columns from left to right

How to create a list

  1. Navigate to the Presence® Platform.
  2. Click Contacts from the left-hand menu.
  3. Apply any filters you want to save using the filter controls at the top of the table.
  4. Adjust your column visibility and order as needed — column changes save automatically.
  5. Click the name of the currently selected list to open the list dropdown, then click + New list.
  6. Enter a name for your list and save. Your list will appear in the list dropdown above the contacts table.

Tip: If you already have filters applied, those filters will be included when you save the new list.

How to update a list

If you want to change the filters or columns saved to an existing list, you can overwrite it with your current view.

  1. Navigate to the Presence® Platform.
  2. Click Contacts from the left-hand menu.
  3. Select the list you want to update from the list dropdown above the contacts table.
  4. Make any changes to your filters or columns.
  5. Click Update this list. The list will be overwritten with your current view.

How to rename a list

  1. Navigate to the Presence® Platform.
  2. Click Contacts from the left-hand menu.
  3. Click the name of the currently selected list to open the list dropdown.
  4. Hover over the list you want to rename and click the ... icon.
  5. Select Edit name, enter the new name, and confirm.

How to reorder your lists

  1. Navigate to the Presence® Platform.
  2. Click Contacts from the left-hand menu.
  3. Click the name of the currently selected list to open the list dropdown.
  4. Drag the six-dot handle to the left of any list name to reorder it.

How to delete a list

You can delete any list except the default All list.

  1. Navigate to the Presence® Platform.
  2. Click Contacts from the left-hand menu.
  3. Click the name of the currently selected list to open the list dropdown.
  4. Hover over the list you want to delete and click the ... icon.
  5. Select Delete and confirm.

Note: Deleting a list removes the saved view only — it does not delete any contacts.

FAQs

Do I need to manually save my column changes?

Column order and visibility save automatically — you do not need to take any additional action to preserve column changes within a list.

Can I share a list with another user on my account?

Lists are currently personal to your account and are not shared with other users.

Can I delete the default lists?

You can delete any default list except All. The All list is permanent and cannot be deleted or renamed.

What happens when I switch between lists?

When you switch between lists in the list dropdown above the contacts table, the table updates to reflect the filters and column layout saved to that list.

What's the difference between updating a list and creating a new one?

Updating a list overwrites the existing saved view — filters and columns — with your current table state. Creating a new list saves your current view as a separate list without changing any existing ones.

Can I use my lists on the Luxury Presence Mobile App?

You cannot create or manage lists from the Luxury Presence Mobile App, but lists you've created on desktop are available on the app and can be used to filter your contacts.
