Learn when image links can be edited directly in the Website Builder and when you'll need support to remove or change them.

Overview

Some images on your Presence® website are clickable links — for example, agent photos on a team page might link to individual agent bio pages. Whether you can remove or change those links yourself depends on the type of element the image lives in. Standalone image elements let you edit links directly in the Website Builder; images inside template-controlled elements (like team bio sections) require a support request.

How to edit a link on a standalone image

Use these steps if the image was added as a standard image element — not as part of a pre-built team or bio section:

  1. Navigate to the Presence® Platform.
  2. Click Websites from the left-hand menu, then hover over your site and select the pen icon.
  3. Click Edit in the top-right corner.
  4. Click the image you want to update.
  5. In the left-hand panel, look for a Link field.
  6. To remove the link, clear the URL from the Link field and leave it blank. To change it, replace the URL with the new destination.
  7. Click Save to apply your changes.

Note: If you click the image and do not see a Link field in the left-hand panel, the image is part of a template-controlled element. See the section below.

When the Link field is not available (template-controlled elements)

Images inside pre-built sections — such as team bio blocks, agent photo grids, or other template elements — are managed differently. These elements do not expose a Link field in the standard left-hand edit panel, so the link cannot be removed or changed directly in the Website Builder.

Common scenarios where this applies:

  • Agent or team member photos on a team page that link to individual bio pages
  • Headshots or profile images inside a pre-built agent bio section
  • Images that are structurally part of a page template built during your initial site setup

Important: Clicking these images in Edit mode will select the element but will not show a Link option — this is expected behavior, not a bug. The link is built into the template structure.
