How to update lead alert email addresses in Presence®

How to add or remove the email addresses that receive lead notification alerts.

Overview

When someone submits a contact form or lead capture on your website, Presence® automatically sends a lead alert email. You can update which email addresses receive these alerts at any time.

Note: Only Admin users can update lead alert email recipients.

How to update lead alert emails

1. Navigate to the Presence® Platform.
2. Click your name or initials in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen.
3. Select Settings from the menu.
4. On the My Profile page, locate the Lead Alert Emails field.
5. To remove an email address, click the X next to it.
6. To add a new email address, type it into the field and press Enter — the email will turn black once accepted.
7. Click Save Changes.

Important: You must press Enter after typing each email address before clicking Save Changes — otherwise the new address will not be saved.

FAQs

Why isn't my new email address saving?

You must press Enter after typing the email address to confirm it — the address should turn black. If you click Save Changes without pressing Enter first, the new address will not be saved.

Who can update lead alert email addresses?

Only Admin users can make changes to lead alert email recipients.

Can I add multiple email addresses to receive lead alerts?

Yes. Repeat the process — type each email address and press Enter to confirm it before saving. All confirmed addresses will receive lead alert notifications.

Does this affect which agent a lead is assigned to?
