How to show listings on a neighborhood page in the Presence® Platform (including all active area listings)

Add listings to a neighborhood page by manually linking properties or drawing a map boundary to pull in all active MLS listings.

Overview

There are two ways to get listings to appear on a neighborhood page in the Presence® Platform: manually linking specific properties, or drawing a map boundary that automatically pulls in all active MLS listings within a defined geographic area. The right method depends on whether you want to curate individual listings or show everything active in a specific region.

Important: The Presence® Platform does not support filtering neighborhood listings by MLS area code. If you want to show all active listings from a specific MLS area, the map boundary method is the only supported approach.

Method 1: Manually link specific listings

Use this method when you want to curate a specific set of properties — for example, your own active or past listings — on a neighborhood page.

  1. Navigate to the Presence® Platform.
  2. In the left-hand menu, click Content to expand the submenu, then select Neighborhoods.
  3. Use the search bar to find a specific neighborhood, or click the neighborhood from the list.
  4. Scroll to the Linked Content section and click Add.
  5. Search for the property address and select the checkbox next to it.
  6. Click Done in the bottom bar.

Note: Only listings that exist in your Presence® content library — either manually added or MLS-synced — can be linked this way. You cannot link external MLS listings that aren't already in your account.

Method 2: Draw a map boundary to show all active listings in an area

Use this method when you want the neighborhood page to automatically display all active MLS listings within a geographic area — including listings from other agents. This is also the correct method if you want to show all listings from a specific MLS area.

  1. Navigate to the Presence® Platform.
  2. In the left-hand menu, click Content to expand the submenu, then select Neighborhoods.
  3. Use the search bar to find a specific neighborhood, or click the neighborhood from the list.
  4. Locate the Demographics & Map section and click the button Draw on Map.
  5. Click Draw on Map and use the drawing tools to outline the geographic boundary of the area you want to cover.
  6. Click Save to apply the boundary.

Once saved, the neighborhood page will automatically pull in all active MLS listings that fall within that boundary.

Note: Map boundary changes can take 10–15 minutes to sync and appear on your live website. If listings still aren't showing after 20 minutes, contact our support team — there may be an MLS data sync delay for your specific region.

Tip: For small or irregular neighborhoods, such as private communities or specific subdivisions, zoom in as much as possible when drawing the boundary to avoid pulling in listings from adjacent areas.

When to use each method

  • Manually link listings — Best for curating your own listings, featured properties, or sold properties you want to highlight on a neighborhood page
  • Draw a map boundary — Best for showing a comprehensive, live inventory of all active listings in a neighborhood or farm area, including listings from other agents

FAQs

Why aren't all active listings in my area showing on the neighborhood page?

If you only used the Linked Content method, the neighborhood page will only show the specific listings you manually attached. To show all active MLS listings in a geographic area, you need to draw a map boundary instead. The Presence® Platform does not support filtering by MLS area code — drawing a map boundary is the only way to display a broad set of active area listings.

Can I filter neighborhood listings by MLS area code?

Filtering neighborhood page listings by MLS area code is not currently supported in the Presence® Platform. To show all listings from a specific MLS area, draw a map boundary that covers the geographic boundaries of that area. If you're unsure how to map the exact boundaries of an MLS area, reach out to our support team for guidance.

How long does it take for new listings to appear after I draw a map boundary?

After drawing or updating a map boundary, listings typically appear on your live website within 10–15 minutes. If active listings are still not showing after 20 minutes, reach out to our support team — there may be a data sync issue specific to your MLS feed.

Can I use both manual linking and a map boundary on the same neighborhood page?

Yes, you can use both methods on the same neighborhood page. Manually linked listings and map-boundary-sourced listings will both appear on the page, though how they display depends on which neighborhood property elements are enabled in the Website Builder.
