Overview

Luxury Presence has applied a platform-wide update to meet REBNY (Real Estate Board of New York) listing display requirements. These updates are automatic and permanent — they cannot be removed or visually customized.

Non-compliance with REBNY rules can result in fines of up to $500 per violation and suspension or removal of IDX data.

  • The listing byline (firm name) now appears on all applicable listings
  • The REBNY logo displays on all REBNY-sourced listings

What this means for your site

If you're a REBNY-affiliated client: These changes are required by REBNY. The firm name, logo, and disclaimer must appear with IDX listings — they cannot be removed and they are not optional. The updates have been implemented to maintain your site's clean design while keeping you fully compliant.

If you're not a REBNY-affiliated client: Your site will only display elements explicitly required by your MLS board. Luxury Presence manages MLS compliance requirements for each board in our system — if your board mandates a logo or firm attribution, it will appear automatically. If it doesn't, nothing new will display on your site.

Can I remove the REBNY logo or disclaimer from my site?

No. These elements are required by REBNY and cannot be removed or customized. Removing them would put your IDX data access at risk.

Why was my site updated even if I'm not a REBNY member?

This update was applied across all website templates as part of a broader MLS compliance initiative following a REBNY audit. For non-REBNY clients, only elements required by your specific MLS board will appear — no additional changes will display if your board doesn't require them.
