How to manage social media links on agent profiles

How to add, update, and remove social media links on agent and team profiles in the Presence® Platform.

Important: This feature is only available on desktop. It is not accessible through the Luxury Presence Mobile App.

You can add social media links to any agent or team profile in the Presence® Platform. Links appear on the agent's or team's dedicated profile page and are managed directly through the CMS.

Supported platforms

You can add links to the following platforms:

• Facebook
• Instagram
• LinkedIn
• TikTok
• Twitter (X)
• YouTube
• Yelp
• Zillow
• Google Business Profile
• Podcast link (Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or your podcast website)

You cannot add custom social platforms beyond this list.

How to add social media links to an agent profile

To add social media links to an agent profile:

1. Navigate to the Presence® Platform.
2. In the left-hand menu, click Content to expand the submenu, then select Agents.
3. Click the agent profile you want to edit.
4. Scroll to the Social Media section, located below Contact Information.
5. Enter the full URL for each platform you want to add.
6. Click Save in the top-right corner.

Changes appear on the agent's profile page immediately.

How to add social media links to a team profile

Follow the same steps above, but navigate to Content → Teams and select the team profile you want to edit.

URL format

Always enter the complete URL — not just a username or handle.

Correct format examples:

• Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/youragentpage
• Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/yourusername/
• LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/yourprofile/
• TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@yourusername
• Twitter: https://twitter.com/yourusername
• YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@yourchannel

Incorrect format examples:

• ❌ luxurypresence
• ❌ @luxurypresence
• ❌ instagram.com/luxurypresence

Tip: Copy the URL directly from your browser's address bar when viewing your profile on each platform — this ensures you capture the complete, correct URL.

How to update an existing social media link

Navigate to Content → Agents or Content → Teams, open the profile, scroll to the Social Media section, update the URL, and click Save.

How to remove a social media link

Navigate to Content → Agents or Content → Teams, open the profile, scroll to the Social Media section, delete the URL from the field you want to remove (leave it blank), and click Save. The link will be removed from the website immediately.

Troubleshooting

Social media links not appearing on the website:

1. Check the URL format — confirm you entered the complete URL including https://. A username alone won't work.
2. Clear your browser cache — try viewing the profile in an incognito or private browsing window.
3. Confirm you clicked Save — return to the profile and verify the URLs are saved in the Social Media section.

A social media link shows an error or doesn't work when clicked:

• Verify the URL is correct — paste it into a new browser tab to confirm it loads.
• Check for typos — even a missing slash or extra character will break the link.
• Confirm the profile is public — private social media profiles may not be accessible to website visitors.

Tips for managing social media links

• Copy URLs directly from your browser — don't type URLs manually; copy from the address bar to avoid typos
• Only link to active accounts — remove links for platforms the agent no longer uses
• Update when usernames change — if an agent changes their handle or creates a new profile, update all affected links promptly
• Adding the same team account to multiple agents — you can add the same URL to multiple profiles, but there's no bulk edit option; each profile must be updated individually

What happened to the Brokerage URL field?

The Brokerage URL field has been replaced by the Website URL field, which is located outside the Social Media section, alongside the agent's phone number and address. If you previously used Brokerage URL to link your brokerage or personal website, use the Website URL field instead.

Do social media link changes go live immediately?

Yes. Clicking Save publishes changes to the live website immediately with no delay or approval process.

Can I add the same social media links to multiple agents at once?

There is no bulk edit option for social media links — each profile must be updated individually. You can add the same URL (for example, a shared team Instagram account) to as many profiles as needed, but each one requires a separate edit.

How do I remove a social media link?

Delete the URL from the field in the Social Media section and leave it blank. Click Save and the link will be removed from the live website immediately.

My social media link isn't working — what should I check first?

Paste the URL into a new browser tab to confirm it loads correctly. If it does, the issue may be a typo in the URL saved in the profile — check for missing slashes, extra characters, or an incomplete URL. Update and save if needed.
