Overview

AI CRM organizes every contact into one of seven types — Lead, Active Client, Past Client, Sphere, Agent, Vendor, or Other — so you can quickly filter your contact list and control which contacts get created when you connect your email or calendar.

What each contact type means

• Lead — A potential client you haven't yet closed a deal with
• Active Client — A client you're currently working with on an open transaction
• Past Client — A client whose transaction has already closed
• Sphere — Someone in your personal network, outside of active business
• Agent — Another real estate agent
• Vendor — A contractor or service provider
• Other — A contact that doesn't fit any of the categories above, such as a non-business contact

How to change a contact's type

To update a contact's type in AI CRM, start here:

1. Navigate to the Presence® Platform.
2. Click Contacts from the left-hand menu.
3. Click directly on the contact type, either from the main contacts list or from the contact's detail page, and select the new type.

The contact's type updates immediately and is reflected right away in your list views and filters.
