How Luxury Presence's built-in AI CRM differs from integrating an external CRM, and how to know which one applies to you.

Overview

The Presence® Platform includes two distinct ways to work with CRM data: AI CRM, Luxury Presence's built-in contact management and relationship intelligence tool, and third-party CRM integrations, which connect your existing external CRM to receive lead data from your website. These are separate products that serve different purposes — and both can be active at the same time.

Key differences at a glance

  • AI CRM is a contact management system built directly into the Presence® Platform. It imports your contacts, assigns lead scores, surfaces follow-up opportunities through Smart Actions, and uses AI to help you act on your existing relationships.
  • Third-party CRM integrations connect your website to an external CRM — such as Follow Up Boss, Compass, MoxiWorks, Rechat, or others — so that leads captured on your site are automatically sent to that CRM.

AI CRM

AI CRM is Luxury Presence's built-in relationship intelligence tool. It lives inside the Presence® Platform and does not require a separate CRM subscription.

What it does:

  • Imports contacts from your email history (Google or Microsoft accounts supported)
  • Assigns each contact a Lead Score based on engagement signals
  • Surfaces follow-up opportunities as Smart Actions — showing you who to reach out to, why, and what to say
  • Tracks contact activity, saved searches, notes, and interaction history

Who it's for: Any Luxury Presence customer who wants a built-in way to manage their sphere and prioritize follow-ups without using a separate CRM tool.

Where to access it: Navigate to the Presence® Platform, then click Contacts or Actions from the left-hand menu.

Third-party CRM integrations

Third-party CRM integrations connect your website to an external CRM you already use. When a lead is captured on your website, that lead's data is automatically sent to your CRM — no manual entry required.

What they do:

  • Route leads captured on your website into your external CRM in real time
  • Keep lead data and activity in sync between Luxury Presence and your CRM
  • Support custom lead routing, tagging, and filtering (depending on the integration method)

Who they're for: Customers who use a CRM outside of Luxury Presence — such as Follow Up Boss, Compass, MoxiWorks, Rechat, Christie's, Lofty, or SendGrid — and want leads from their website delivered there automatically.

How they work: Luxury Presence supports two integration methods — Direct Integration (using an API key or email) and Zapier Integration (for custom workflows or CRMs not on the direct list).

Can I use both at the same time?

Yes. AI CRM and a third-party CRM integration are not mutually exclusive. You can use AI CRM to manage your sphere and surface follow-ups inside the Presence® Platform while also sending leads to an external CRM like Follow Up Boss.

Does connecting a third-party CRM replace AI CRM?

No. Connecting an external CRM only routes leads from your website to that CRM — it does not affect AI CRM. Both can be active simultaneously.
