Why can't I change the Walk Score or Bike Score on my neighborhood page?

How the Neighborhood Points of Interest & Commute element works, why its Walk Score and Bike Score links can't be manually edited, and what options are available.

Important: This feature is only available on desktop. It is not accessible through the Luxury Presence Mobile App.

The Walk Score and Bike Score data on your neighborhood pages comes from the Neighborhood Points of Interest & Commute element — a built-in, automated element whose data and links are fed directly from Walk Score and Yelp. Because it is a system-level element, neither you nor our support team can manually edit or relink the Walk Score or Bike Score URLs. If you need to change how this data appears, you have two options: remove the element, or update the neighborhood's underlying location data so different Walk Score and Bike Score results are pulled in.

Key things to know

• Walk Score and Bike Score data — along with nearby places and the associated links — is automatically pulled from Walk Score and Yelp through the Neighborhood Points of Interest & Commute element. It is not a text or link element you added manually. On the live page, these appear as the Walking Score and Bike Score metrics.
• Because the data is system-generated, the link URLs cannot be updated through the settings panel the way a regular hyperlink can — and this isn't something our support team can do manually either.
• If you remove the Neighborhood Points of Interest & Commute element, it is removed from all neighborhood pages on your site — not just the page you are currently editing.

What you can do

Option 1: Remove the Neighborhood Points of Interest & Commute element

If you'd rather not display Walk Score or Bike Score data at all, you can remove the element:

1. Navigate to the Presence® Platform.
2. Click Websites from the left-hand menu, then hover over your site and select the pen icon.
3. Use the page dropdown in the top-left corner to select a neighborhood page.
4. Click Edit in the top-right corner.
5. Click the Neighborhood Points of Interest & Commute element in the page layout.
6. In the left-hand settings panel, select the Delete or trash icon to remove the element.
7. Click Save.

Once saved, the Neighborhood Points of Interest & Commute element — including both the Walk Score and Bike Score data — is removed from every neighborhood page on your site.

Important: Removing the Neighborhood Points of Interest & Commute element from one neighborhood page removes it from all neighborhood pages across your site — it is a shared element type.

Option 2: Update the neighborhood's location data

Walk Score and Bike Score results are calculated based on the location data set for that neighborhood. If the scores look inaccurate, updating the neighborhood's map boundary can change which area's data gets pulled in. See How to set or draw a map boundary for a neighborhood for the full steps.

Will removing the Neighborhood Points of Interest & Commute element affect just one page or all of my neighborhood pages?

Removing the element removes it from all neighborhood pages — not just the page you are editing.

Why is Walk Score and Bike Score data showing up on my site at all?

The Neighborhood Points of Interest & Commute element is included by default on neighborhood pages because it provides visitors with useful local context — walkability and bikeability scores, nearby restaurants, transit options, and more. The data is sourced automatically from Walk Score and Yelp based on the location associated with each neighborhood page.

The Walk Score or Bike Score looks wrong for my neighborhood — how do I fix it?
