Overview

Neighborhood pages in the Presence® Platform use a two-track editing system. The Website Builder controls the page layout — a single global template that applies to every neighborhood page on your site. The Content → Neighborhoods section controls the actual content on each page — descriptions, images, SEO fields, and more — which you can customize individually per neighborhood.

If editing a neighborhood page in the Website Builder changes all your neighborhood pages at once, that's expected behavior. To customize content for a specific neighborhood without affecting others, use Content → Neighborhoods.

The two-track system explained

• Website Builder (global layout template) — Controls the structure of all neighborhood detail pages: which elements appear, in what order, and how they look. Changes here apply sitewide to every neighborhood page.
• Content → Neighborhoods (per-neighborhood content) — Controls the text, images, SEO metadata, and video for each individual neighborhood. Changes here only affect that one neighborhood.

How to edit content for a specific neighborhood

Use this path to update copy, images, or SEO fields for one neighborhood without affecting others:

1. Navigate to the Presence® Platform.
2. In the left-hand menu, click Content to expand the submenu, then select Neighborhoods.
3. Use the search bar to find a specific neighborhood, or click the neighborhood from the list.
4. Edit any of the following fields:
   • Name — the display name shown on your site
   • Short Description — a brief summary that appears in preview cards and featured elements
   • Full Description — the main body copy (the most important field for SEO)
   • Images — header photo and gallery
   • Video — optional video link or embed
5. Click the SEO tab to customize the SEO Title and SEO Description for that specific page.
6. Click Save.

Note: Each neighborhood is its own record, so changes to one neighborhood will not affect any others.

How to edit the layout that all neighborhood pages share

Use this path only if you want to change the structure or design elements that appear on every neighborhood page:

1. Navigate to the Presence® Platform.
2. Click Websites from the left-hand menu, then hover over the site you want to edit and select the pen icon.
3. Click the Edit button in the top-right corner to enter edit mode.
4. In the page list, select Neighborhood Details.
5. Add, rearrange, or remove elements as needed.
6. Click Save.

Important: Any changes made here apply to all neighborhood pages simultaneously. This is the correct place to change which sections appear — such as demographics, map, or MLS listings — but not the place to update text or images for a specific neighborhood.

Best practice for SEO

For the best SEO results, use the Full Description and SEO fields in Content → Neighborhoods to write unique, area-specific copy for each neighborhood. Search engines reward pages with unique, relevant content — using the same template language across all neighborhood pages will not improve your rankings.
