Why don't I see advertising options in the Presence® Platform?

Three reasons Buyer Ads, Seller Ads, or the Advertising section may be missing from Marketing — and how to fix each one.

Overview

If you navigate to Marketing in the Presence® Platform and can't find the Advertising section, one of three things is likely going on: your plan doesn't include advertising, you're not logged in as an Admin, or your website isn't live yet. Work through the checklist below to identify which applies to you.

Troubleshooting checklist

1. Your plan does not include advertising

Launch plan users can access the Marketing tab, but will not see the Advertising section inside it. Buyer Ads and Seller Ads are only available on the Brand, Scale, and All In plans.

2. You are not logged in as an Admin

Even on eligible plans, Buyer Ads and Seller Ads are only visible to Admin users. Team members with Member or Guest roles will not see these options.

How to check your role:

1. Navigate to the Presence® Platform.
2. Click your name or initials in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen.
3. Select Settings from the menu.
4. Click Users in the left menu. If you don't see a Users option, you are not an Admin — only Admins can access this section.

Note: Only an existing Admin on your account can change another user's role. If you are the sole Admin and are experiencing unexpected access issues, contact support for assistance.

3. Your website is not live yet

Buyer Ads and Seller Ads require your website to be live — published and publicly accessible — before campaigns can be launched. If your site is still in Draft or hasn't been published, these options may not appear.

How to check your site status:

1. Navigate to the Presence® Platform.
2. Click Websites from the left-hand menu.
3. Check whether your site shows a Live status. If it shows Draft or is still in setup, it is not yet live.

Note: Listing Ads (under Marketing → Advertising → Listing Ads) have different availability requirements and may be accessible even when Buyer Ads and Seller Ads are not.

Can Launch plan users access any advertising features?

Launch plan users do not have access to the Advertising section. To unlock advertising features, you would need to upgrade to a Brand, Scale, or All In plan.

I'm an Admin on a Brand plan with a live site, but still don't see advertising options. What should I do?

What's the difference between Listing Ads, Buyer Ads, and Seller Ads?

Listing Ads promote a specific property and are available on Brand plans and above. Buyer Ads run Google campaigns targeting active buyers in your market. Seller Ads target homeowners likely to sell. Buyer Ads and Seller Ads are available on Brand, Scale, and All In plans only.
