You can change a blog post's publishing date to backdate it or reschedule when it goes live, directly from the post editor.

How to change the publishing date

1. Navigate to the Presence® Platform.
2. In the left-hand menu, click Content to expand the submenu, then select Blog Posts.
3. Open the post you want to update.
4. Locate the Publishing Date field and select a new date:
   • Past date — backdates the post
   • Future date — schedules it to go live later
5. Click Publish to save your changes.

Note: The post won't appear on your website until it has been officially published. The platform uses your local time zone.

Backdating tells search engines the post was published on that date. Use backdating thoughtfully — it can be useful for organizing evergreen content but should reflect when the content was actually written to avoid misleading readers or search engines.
