Overview

A newsletter sign-up modal lets you capture email addresses from visitors directly on your website. Luxury Presence provides the pop-up tool — delivering emails to your subscribers requires a separate CRM or email platform.

How to add the newsletter modal

1. Navigate to the Presence® Platform.
2. Click Websites from the left-hand menu, then hover over the site you want to edit and select the pen icon.
3. In the top navigation bar, click the Global Elements icon (four dots).
4. In the left panel, scroll to Custom Modals and click the + icon.
5. In the modal library, search for "newsletter."
6. Click the Newsletter Sign-Up modal to add it to your site.

How to customize the modal

In the modal settings panel:

• Rename the modal for easy reference
• Set the launch behavior — for example, trigger after a few seconds on the page
• Choose which pages the modal appears on
• Update the design — background, title, subtitle, image, and layout
• Click Save in the bottom-left corner when done

FAQs

Does Luxury Presence send newsletters for me?

No. Luxury Presence provides the pop-up tool to capture subscriber email addresses. Sending emails to your list requires a separate CRM or email marketing platform such as Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or HubSpot.

How is this different from the exit intent modal?

Both use the Email Sign-Up modal format, but the trigger differs. A newsletter pop-up can be set to appear after a visitor has been on the page for a set amount of time. An exit intent modal triggers specifically when a visitor is about to leave. See [How to set up exit intent modals in Presence®].

Can I control which pages the newsletter modal appears on?

Yes. In the modal settings, choose specific pages where the modal should trigger rather than applying it site-wide.

What happens to leads who fill out my newsletter sign-up form?

Leads who complete a newsletter sign-up form are tagged as "Newsletter Signup" in your Presence® contacts list. They are not automatically added to a mailing list — this is a lead capture mechanism, not a mailing list subscription. To use these leads in email campaigns, export them from Presence® and import them into your CRM or email marketing platform (Mailchimp, HubSpot, Constant Contact, etc.).
