How do I pause an AI service on my account?

How to pause and resume AI Blogs, AI SEO Optimizations, or Social Media Management from your plan settings.

Important: This feature is only available on desktop. It is not accessible through the Luxury Presence Mobile App.

Overview

You can pause any AI service on your account at any time directly from your plan settings — no need to contact support. Pausing stops the selected service from running until you turn it back on.

How to pause or resume an AI service

  1. Navigate to the Presence® Platform.
  2. Click your name or initials in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen.
  3. Select Settings from the menu.
  4. Click Plan & Usage from the sub-menu.
  5. Scroll to the AI Services section at the bottom of the page.
  6. Toggle the service off to pause, or on to resume.

The following services can be paused from this section:

  • AI Blogs — Stops new blog posts from being generated and published. Included on the Brand, Scale, and All In plans.
  • AI SEO Optimizations — Stops active managed SEO optimization. Included on the Brand, Scale, and All In plans.
  • Social Media Management — Stops new posts from being drafted and scheduled. Included on the Scale and All In plans, or available as an add-on.

Note: Pausing a service does not delete or undo any work already completed. Existing published blog posts, applied SEO changes, and previously scheduled social posts are not affected.

FAQs

Will pausing a service delete my existing content?

No, pausing a service only stops new activity from being generated. Any blog posts, SEO changes, or social posts that have already been created or published will remain in place.

What happens to scheduled social posts if I pause Social Media Management?

Posts that have already been approved and are scheduled will not be affected by pausing. To stop a specific scheduled post from going live, cancel it individually before pausing. See How to edit, approve, and schedule your social media posts for instructions.

Can I pause more than one service at a time?

Yes, each service has its own toggle, and you can pause any combination of AI Blogs, AI SEO Optimizations, and Social Media Management independently.

Who can pause AI services?

Admin users on your account can pause or resume AI services from Settings → Plan & Usage → AI Services. See What are the Admin, Member, and Guest user roles? for more on role permissions.

How do I resume a paused service?

To resume, follow the same steps and toggle the service back on. The service will resume its normal cycle from that point forward.

What if I don't see the AI Services section in my plan settings?

AI Blogs and AI SEO Optimizations are included on the Brand, Scale, and All In plans. Social Media Management is included on the Scale and All In plans, or available as an add-on.
