How to assign listing agents to properties so their details display in the Home Search Tool and leads route directly to them.

Overview

Assigning an agent to a property listing does two things: it displays that agent's name, photo, and contact information on the property in the Home Search Tool, and it routes contact form submissions directly to that agent.

Note: Leads are only routed when a visitor submits a contact form — not when they simply view a listing.

How to assign an agent to a property

1. Navigate to the Presence® Platform.
2. In the left-hand menu, click Content to expand the submenu, then select Properties.
3. Use the search bar to find the property, or click it from the list.
4. Scroll to the Agents field.
5. If the agent wasn't auto-assigned by MLS, click the dropdown and select one or more agents from your team.
6. Click Save in the top-right corner.

FAQs

Can I assign more than one agent to a property?

Yes. The Agents field supports multiple selections for co-listed properties. Each assigned agent will have their information displayed and will receive leads from that listing's contact form.

What if the agent was already assigned by the MLS sync?

If the MLS feed includes agent data, the Agents field may be pre-filled. Confirm the assignment is correct and update manually if needed.

How does this interact with my other lead routing rules?

Agent attribution routing in the Home Search Tool operates alongside your standard lead routing rules. Property contact form submissions go directly to the assigned listing agent. For other form types, see [How to set up lead routing rules in Presence®].

What information displays for the assigned agent on the listing?
