Overview

AI Lead Nurture (AILN) and Follow Up Boss Phone cannot be active on the same account at the same time. Running both simultaneously would create conflicts for your leads and is not supported due to differing compliance requirements. You'll need to choose one service to handle lead nurture and follow-up.

Which should I choose?

  • If your plan includes AI Lead Nurture, we recommend staying with AILN. It's the default recommendation for the best overall experience on the Presence® Platform.
  • If your plan does not include AI Lead Nurture, you can use Follow Up Boss Phone instead.

Important: Enabling Follow Up Boss Phone requires updates to your website opt-in disclaimers. Our support team will handle this for you.

How the Follow Up Boss integration works

A few common questions come up when clients start using Follow Up Boss alongside the Presence® Platform:

  • Lead sync is one direction — The Presence® Platform automatically sends new leads to Follow Up Boss. Changes made in Follow Up Boss do not push back to the Presence® Platform, and that's by design — each platform handles a different job.
  • The integration is for new leads only — Your existing Follow Up Boss contact history stays in Follow Up Boss. The integration applies to new leads going forward.
  • AILN and Follow Up Boss Phone don't run together — If you switch to Follow Up Boss Phone, AI Lead Nurture will be turned off. There's no duplication — Follow Up Boss handles follow-up instead.
