Can I add tags to my blog posts?

Categories are the closest equivalent to tags for organizing your blog posts. The blog post editor includes a Categories field, and you can add as many category labels as you want to each post — a single post can belong to multiple categories. This lets you surface the same post in different filtered views across your website.

Categories serve the same purpose as tags in other platforms — they group related posts together and control what appears in different blog sections of your site.

How to add categories to a blog post

Since there's no separate tags field, categories are how you organize and filter your blog posts. To add a category to a post, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to the Presence® Platform.
2. In the left-hand menu, click Content to expand the submenu, then select Blog Posts.
3. Click the title of the post you want to categorize, or click Add New to create a new one.
4. In the blog editor, locate the Categories field.
5. Type your category name (for example, "Buyer Tips" or "Market Updates").
6. Press Enter to save — the category tag turns black once saved. If it stays gray or blue, press Enter again.
7. Repeat to add as many categories as needed.
8. Click Publish in the top-right corner to apply your changes.

Your categories save and appear on the post immediately after publishing.

Tip: You can add multiple categories to a single post. This lets you surface the same post in different filtered views on your website.

Categories help organize content for visitors and improve site navigation, which can indirectly support SEO. They don't function as keywords on their own — for direct SEO impact, focus on your page titles, meta descriptions, and post content instead.

Can I add or manage blog post categories from the mobile app?
