How to update fonts and add custom fonts to your website in Presence®

How to change your website's default typography and request a custom font installation.

Overview

Typography is managed in the Website Styles section of the Website Builder. You can update heading and body fonts from the available options at any time. For custom fonts not in the standard library, Luxury Presence can install them for a one-time development fee.

How to change your website fonts

1. Navigate to the Presence® Platform.
2. Click Websites from the left-hand menu, then hover over the site you want to edit and select the pen icon.
3. In the top navigation bar, click the Website Styles icon (the Paint Can icon).
4. From the left panel, select Typography.
5. Use the dropdowns to change the fonts for Heading and Body text.
6. Adjust font sizes as needed for readability.
7. Preview your changes live on the right side of the screen.
8. Click Save at the bottom to apply your updates.

How to add a custom font

If you want to use a font not available in the standard Typography options, you can license and submit one for installation.

Step 1: Find the font

Search for the web version of your font — for example, "Gotham webfont." Reputable sources include Google Fonts, Adobe Fonts, MyFonts, FontSquirrel, Fonts.com, and Typography.com.

Step 2: Confirm you have a Webfont License

You must have a Webfont License to legally use a custom font on your website. Other license types do not apply:

Step 3: Choose a licensing model

Custom fonts may be licensed as free/open, one-time fee, subscription-based, or pay-as-you-go (based on traffic volume). If you choose a subscription or traffic-based model, note that your font may stop displaying if the subscription lapses or page view limits are exceeded.

Step 4: Purchase and download the font files

Download the webfont files — typically WOFF or WOFF2 format.

Step 5: Submit to Luxury Presence for installation

FAQs

Can I use any font I find online?

No. You must have the appropriate license for any font used on your website — specifically a Webfont License. Using a font without the correct license may violate the font vendor's terms. Luxury Presence requires that you own or hold an appropriate license for all content uploaded to your site, including fonts.

What font file formats are needed?

WOFF and WOFF2 are the standard web font formats. Download these from your font vendor after purchase.

What if my subscription-based font lapses?

If a font subscription expires or a pay-as-you-go plan runs out of page views, the font may stop displaying on your website. Keep your subscription active or switch to a one-time license to avoid interruptions.

How long does custom font installation take?

5–10 business days after submitting the font files and license documentation to our support team.
