How to view and edit contact information in Presence® CRM

How to read, edit, and manage contact profile information, including Contact Score, enriched data, and attribution.

Overview

A contact profile in Presence® CRM shows complete contact details, a Contact Score breakdown, enriched data from third-party sources, and attribution showing how the contact found you. Most fields can be edited by clicking directly on them — changes save automatically in real time and are immediately visible to all team members.

Profile header

At the top of every contact profile you'll see:

• Contact name and avatar (or a spam indicator for flagged contacts)
• Last active timestamp
• Quick action buttons — Call, Text, Email, Note
• Three-dot menu for additional actions

Quick action buttons are only active when the contact has the relevant information. Call and Text require a phone number; Email requires an email address.

Left sidebar sections

The left sidebar is organized into four sections:

• Contact Score — overall lead quality rating with breakdown (if enabled)
• Details — editable core contact information
• Enriched Data — third-party verified information (if available)
• Attribution — how the contact found you

Contact Score

Note: Contact Score only appears if this feature is enabled on your account. If you don't see it, contact our support team.

Contact Score shows an overall rating with a detailed breakdown across seven components:

Details — editing contact information

Click any field in the Details section to edit it. Changes save automatically with confirmation.

Editable fields include:

• Name — first and last name
• Email — validated for format
• Phone — validated for format
• Type — Lead, Active Client, Past Client, Agent, or Other
• Tags — add or remove multiple tags
• Assigned to — assign agents or users
• Notes — available if the newer notes feature is not enabled

Enriched Data

Note: Enriched Data only appears if enrichment is available for this contact. Not all contacts will have enriched data.

Important: Enriched data comes from third-party providers and may not always be accurate. Always verify information before relying on it.

Enriched Data can include:

Personal: Gender, age, marital status

Property: Homeowner or renter status, current property value and equity percentage, property history

Financial: Estimated income range, estimated wealth range, bankruptcy or judgment records

Professional: Current and past jobs with companies and titles, education history

Enriched data cannot be edited. If data appears incorrect, add corrections in the Notes section or update the editable fields in the Details section.

Viewing property history

If the contact has property history, click the property count link in the Enriched Data section to see all associated properties including full address, ownership status and timeline, purchase date and price, current estimated value, property details, and outstanding loans and equity.

Attribution

The Attribution section shows how this contact found you:

• Capture Source — where they originally came from (e.g., Contact Inquiry, Home Value)
• Campaign — marketing campaign name from UTM parameters
• Medium — marketing medium from UTM parameters
• Marketing Source — original traffic source from UTM parameters
• GCLID — Google Click ID for ad tracking

How to archive a contact or mark as spam

1. Click the three-dot menu in the top-right of the contact profile.
2. Select Archive or Mark as Spam.
3. Confirm the action.

Archiving moves the contact to the Archived tab — they're still searchable and retain all historical data. A banner appears when viewing their profile. They can be unarchived at any time.

Marking as spam flags the contact with a spam indicator on their profile.

How to unarchive a contact

Find the contact in the Archived tab, click the three-dot menu, and select Unarchive. The contact returns to your active contacts list immediately.

FAQs

Do my edits save automatically?

Yes. Changes to contact fields save immediately and sync in real time across all users viewing the same contact. Your edits are visible to other team members instantly.

Why don't I see Contact Score on a contact profile?

Contact Score only appears if the feature is enabled on your account. Contact our support team to learn more about enabling it:

Why don't I see Enriched Data on a contact profile?

Enriched Data only appears if enrichment is available for that specific contact — not all contacts will have third-party data on file.

Can I edit enriched data if it's wrong?

No. Enriched data comes from third-party providers and cannot be edited in Presence® CRM. If data is incorrect, add a correction in the Notes section or update the relevant fields in the Details section.

What's the difference between archiving and marking as spam?

Archiving moves a contact to the Archived tab — they retain all their data and history and can be unarchived at any time. Marking as spam flags the contact with a spam indicator on their profile. Use Archive for contacts who are no longer relevant; use Mark as Spam for contacts who appear to be fraudulent or unwanted.
