How to connect SendGrid to your Presence® website

How to generate a SendGrid API key and connect it to the Presence® Platform for lead syncing.

Overview

Connecting SendGrid to Luxury Presence automatically syncs leads from your website into your SendGrid marketing lists.

Step 1: Generate a SendGrid API key

1. Log in to your SendGrid account.
2. In the left navigation, go to Settings → API Keys.
3. Click Create API Key.
4. Name the key — for example, "LP SendGrid Key."
5. Under API Key Permissions, select Restricted Access.
6. Find Marketing and set it to Full Access.
7. Click Create & View.
8. Copy the API key displayed on the next screen and save it somewhere secure — it will only be shown once.

Step 2: Connect SendGrid in Presence®

1. Navigate to the Presence® Platform.
2. Click your name or initials in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen.
3. Select Settings from the menu.
4. Click CRM Integrations in the left-hand panel.
5. Click Add New in the top-right corner.
6. Name the integration Sendgrid.
7. Select Sendgrid from the provider dropdown.
8. Paste your API key into the field.
9. Click Save.

FAQs

What permissions does the API key need?

The key needs Full Access under the Marketing permission category only. You don't need to enable other permission categories.

What if I lose my API key?

API keys are only shown once in SendGrid. If you lose it, return to Settings → API Keys in SendGrid, delete the existing key, and create a new one. Update the key in Presence® CRM Integrations settings afterward.
