How to copy slides between presentations in the Presence® Platform

You can't move slides directly between presentations — here's the workaround that gets you there.

Overview

You cannot copy or move individual slides between presentations in the Presence® Platform. The best workaround is to duplicate the presentation containing the slides you need, then delete the slides you don't want to keep.

Best workaround: Duplicate and trim

  1. Navigate to the Presence® Platform.
  2. Click Presentations from the left-hand menu.
  3. Hover over the presentation that contains the slides you want and click the three-dots icon.
  4. Select Duplicate — this creates an exact copy of the presentation.
  5. Open the duplicate by hovering over it and clicking the pen icon.
  6. In the slide bar at the bottom of the editor, right-click each slide you want to remove and select Delete.
  7. Keep only the slides you need.

Note: An Undo button will briefly appear after you delete a slide. Once it disappears, the slide cannot be recovered — review carefully before closing the editor.

Tip: Give your duplicate a clear name to stay organized — for example, "Seller Presentation – Slides 9–13 Only."

What you can do within a single presentation

Within a single presentation, you can:

  • Duplicate a slide — right-click a slide thumbnail and select Duplicate, or press Shift + D
  • Delete a slide — right-click the slide thumbnail and select Delete
  • Add new slides — click the + icon in the top-right corner to open the slide library and add new layouts

FAQs

Can I copy a slide from one presentation into another?

Copying or moving individual slides between presentations is not currently supported in the Presence® Platform. The best alternative is to duplicate the presentation that contains the slides you want, then delete the ones you don't need.

Will a future update allow slide copying between presentations?

Additional customization options for presentations are in active development. Contact our support team or share feedback through the platform — feature requests help the team prioritize future updates.

I duplicated a presentation but I also need to update the branding colors. How do I do that?

After duplicating, open the presentation and click the paint bucket icon in the top-right corner of the editor. From the Theme Customization menu, you can update colors, toggle between light and dark themes, and change the font pairing. Theme changes apply to all slides in the presentation.
