Overview

There are two places properties appear on your website — the Home Search Tool and Content → Properties — and they work differently. Knowing which one you need to update is the key to removing a listing correctly.

How to remove a property from Content → Properties

1. Navigate to the Presence® Platform.
2. In the left-hand menu, click Content to expand the submenu, then select Properties.
3. Use the search bar to find the property.
4. Check the checkbox next to the property.
5. Click the trash can icon (labeled Delete) at the bottom of the screen.
6. Click Archive in the confirmation pop-up.

This removes the property from all display elements on your website — grids, sliders, featured sections, and any other property elements.

What to do if a property is stuck in the Home Search Tool

The Home Search Tool pulls directly from your MLS feed — individual listings cannot be manually removed. If a property is still showing in the Home Search Tool after it's been removed from your MLS:

• Wait up to 24 hours for the MLS sync to update

FAQs

If I archive a property from Content → Properties, will it disappear from the Home Search Tool?

No. The Home Search Tool pulls directly from your MLS feed — archiving a property in Content → Properties only removes it from your website's property grids, sliders, and display elements.

If a property is removed from my MLS, will it automatically be removed from Content → Properties too?

Not necessarily. MLS-synced properties in Content → Properties may need to be manually archived even after they're removed from the MLS.

Can I hide a property from the Home Search Tool without removing it from the MLS?

No. The Home Search Tool automatically displays all active listings from your MLS feed and cannot be filtered to hide individual listings.
