How to control which details display on your blog grid in the Presence® Website Builder.

Overview

By default, your blog grid may display the publish date, author name, and category for each post. You can show or hide any of these details directly in the Website Builder without editing individual posts.

How to update blog grid display settings

  1. Navigate to the Presence® Platform.
  2. Click Websites from the left-hand menu, then hover over your site and select the pen icon.
  3. Use the page dropdown in the top-left corner to navigate to your Blog page.
  4. Click Edit in the top-right corner.
  5. Click on the blog grid element on the page. The settings panel will open on the left.
  6. Under the Layout section, toggle the publish date, author name, and category on or off as needed.
  7. Click Save.

Your changes will appear on your live blog page immediately.

FAQs

Can I remove the publish date from blog posts without deleting it from the post itself?

Yes. Toggling the publish date off in the blog grid settings hides it from the display on your blog page — it doesn't remove or change the date stored on the post.

Do these settings apply to all blog posts or just specific ones?

These settings apply to the blog grid element on your blog page, which affects how all posts in that grid are displayed. Individual post settings are managed separately in the post editor.

I don't see a Layout section in the left-hand settings panel — what should I do?

Make sure you clicked directly on the blog grid element and are in Edit mode. If you're clicking on the page background rather than the element itself, the settings panel won't show the correct options. If the Layout section still isn't visible after clicking the element, contact our support team:
