How to update your logo on social media posts

How logos are sourced for your social media posts and how to update them when your branding changes.

Important: This feature is only available on desktop. It is not accessible through the Luxury Presence Mobile App.

Overview

If you need to update your logo on social media posts, the fix happens on your website, not in the post editor: your social media posts automatically pull your logo directly from your website's Global Elements — the same Light Logo and Dark Logo used in your site header. If the wrong logo is appearing on your posts, or no logo is appearing at all, update your logo in Global Elements and future posts will use the new one. You do not need to contact our support team to change which logo appears on your posts.

Note: Logos on social media posts are intentionally locked and cannot be edited directly in the post editor. This is by design to protect brand consistency and keep the logo from covering key parts of each post's design. To change the logo, update it in Global Elements first.

How to update your logo

To change the logo that appears on your social media posts, update it in your website's Global Elements. Posts generated after the update will automatically reflect the new logo.

1. Navigate to the Presence® Platform.
2. Click Websites from the left-hand menu, then hover over the site you want to edit and select the pen icon.
3. In the white top navigation bar, click the Global Elements icon (four dots).
4. Select Header from the dropdown, then click Layout.
5. Scroll to the Light Logo and Dark Logo sections.
6. Hover over the current logo and click the pen icon to open the Media Gallery.
7. Click Upload Files to upload a new logo, or select from My Images.
8. Click Assign Selected, then click Save.

Your website's logo updates immediately after saving. Social media posts generated after this point will automatically use the new logo — posts that were already generated or scheduled before the update will still show the old logo (see the FAQs below for how to update those). Why can't I change the logo directly in the post editor?

Logos on social media posts are intentionally locked in the post editor to protect brand consistency and keep the logo from covering key parts of each post's design. The only way to change the logo is to update it in Global Elements → Header → Layout. All posts generated after that update will reflect the new logo automatically.

Do I need to contact support to update my logo on social media posts?

No — you can update your logo on your own through Global Elements → Header → Layout. Posts generated after the update will automatically use the new logo. If you run into any issues, contact our support team for help:

Will updating my logo on my website change the logo on already-scheduled posts?

No — posts generated before the logo update will still show the old logo. To update those posts, click the Describe what you want changed box on each post and ask the AI to regenerate it with updated branding.

My logo updated on my website but social media posts are still showing the old logo — what do I do?

Posts generated before your logo change will continue to show the old logo — this is expected. For future posts, the new logo will apply automatically. For existing scheduled posts, click the Describe what you want changed box and regenerate them individually.

Which plans include social media posts with my logo?

Done-for-you social media posts are included on the Scale and All In plans. Brand plan customers can add it on for an additional monthly fee. It is not available on the Launch plan.

Can I update my logo on social media posts from the Luxury Presence Mobile App?

No, updating your logo in Global Elements is only available on desktop through the Presence® Platform. It is not accessible through the Luxury Presence Mobile App.
