How to update your years of experience on your Presence® website

Update the Years of Experience stat in the Stats Highlight element on your Presence® website.

Overview

Your years of experience is displayed on your Presence® website through a Stats Highlight element. You can update it directly from the website editor in the Presence® Platform in just a few steps.

Note: Editing the text in your written bio does not change the Years of Experience stat that appears on your site. You must update the Stats Highlight element described below for the number to change.

How to update your years of experience

1. Navigate to the Presence® Platform.
2. Click Websites from the left-hand menu, then hover over the site you want to edit and select the pen icon.
3. Click the Edit button in the top-right corner to enter edit mode.
4. Use the page dropdown in the top-left corner to navigate to the page containing your Stats Highlight element.
5. Click the Stats Highlight element to open its settings.
6. Click the Years of Experience stat item.
7. Update the Value field with the correct number.
8. Click Save.

Tip: Refresh your live website after saving to confirm the change — the updated number should appear right away.

What to do if the stat won't update

If the Years of Experience stat appears stuck after editing, the element instance may be unresponsive. Deleting and replacing it resolves the issue.

1. Delete the affected Stats Highlight element from the page.
2. Add a new Stats Highlight element in its place.
3. Re-enter your stats in the new element.
4. Click Save.

Why didn't my years of experience change when I updated my bio text?

Updating the written text in your bio does not change the Years of Experience stat displayed on your site. That stat is part of the Stats Highlight element on your page, and must be updated there directly for the number to change.

How long does it take for the update to go live?

Changes to the Stats Highlight element publish immediately — there is no delay or approval step. Refresh your live website right after saving to confirm the update.
