How to review, edit, and approve your Video Reels

Auto-generated short-form videos built from your listing photos, reviewed and published through your existing weekly workflow.

Important: This feature is only available on desktop. It is not accessible through the Luxury Presence Mobile App.

Overview

Video Reels are short-form videos automatically generated from the listing photos already in your account. Each Reel publishes to Instagram and cross-posts to Facebook — no filming, no editing software, and no new workflow required. Reels appear in your weekly review queue alongside image carousels so your account posts consistently across formats.

Video Reels are part of Social Media Management, which is included on the Scale and All In plans. Customers on Launch or Brand plans can add Social Media Management as an add-on. For a broader overview, see What is Social Media Management?

How to review and approve a Video Reel

  1. Navigate to the Presence® Platform.
  2. Click Marketing from the left-hand menu.
  3. Select Social Media from the submenu.
  4. Locate the Reel in your review queue — it appears alongside your carousels.
  5. Click on the Reel to preview it. Use the sound and full-screen controls to review it fully.
  6. To edit the caption, click the caption field. Type your changes manually, or click Regenerate to have AI rewrite it — caption regeneration takes less than a minute.
  7. To change the video itself — scenes, camera movement, visual style, or graphic text overlays — type your request in plain English in the Smart Edit bar at the bottom (for example: "Highlight the pool" or "Change the intro scene to the kitchen"). The Reel will regenerate in a few minutes.
  8. When you're satisfied, click Approve post. The Reel will publish on its scheduled date to Instagram and cross-post to Facebook.

Note: If you don't want to publish a Reel, no action is required. The post will remain in your queue until its scheduled publish date, then expire automatically.

What to expect

  • Reels are mixed with carousels — you won't necessarily see a Reel every week. Luxury Presence balances your weekly mix across formats based on your listings and what performs best on Instagram and Facebook.
  • Reels require active listings — Reels are generated from listing photos in your account. If you don't have active listings, you won't receive a Reel that week.
  • Listing photo quality matters — the system prioritizes high-quality photos when selecting which listing to feature. Properties photographed with a smartphone may be deprioritized in favor of professionally photographed listings.
  • Music, no voiceover — Reels include background music and graphic text overlays. Voiceover is not currently available.
  • New styles and topics added monthly — Luxury Presence releases new Reel styles and topics on a regular basis.

FAQs

Will I get a Reel every week?

Reels are mixed with image carousels to give your account a diverse format portfolio — the way Instagram and Facebook reward consistent posting across formats. Some weeks you may see a Reel; other weeks the mix will favor carousels. The balance is determined by your listings, recent post history, and algorithm performance.

Do I need to do anything to skip a Reel I don't want to post?

No action is needed to skip a Reel. If you don't approve it, the post will remain in your queue until its scheduled publish date passes and expire on its own.

What can I change with Smart Edit?

You can use Smart Edit to change the scenes in the video, camera movement, visual style, and graphic text overlays. Describe the change in plain English in the Smart Edit bar (for example: "Highlight the pool" or "Start with the kitchen"). Video changes regenerate in a few minutes. You can also edit or regenerate the caption separately — caption changes take less than a minute.

Why aren't my listings appearing in Reels?

Reels are generated from active listings in your account. If you don't have active listings, Reels won't be available that week. The system also prioritizes professionally photographed listings — properties photographed on a smartphone may be deprioritized.
