How to set up and install a Meta (Facebook) pixel on your Presence® website

How to create a Meta pixel in Events Manager and send the code to Luxury Presence for installation.

Overview

The Meta pixel tracks visitor behavior from your Facebook and Instagram ads — letting you measure conversions, build retargeting audiences, and optimize your ad campaigns.

Note: If your Facebook pixel appears missing in Business Manager, it hasn't been deleted. Pixels and data have moved to Events Manager → Data Sources or Meta Business Suite → Data Sources → Datasets as part of a platform-wide update.

Part 1: Create your Meta pixel

  1. Go to Meta Business Suite or Facebook Business Manager.
  2. In the left panel, click All Tools.
  3. Select Events Manager.
  4. Click Connect Data Sources.
  5. Select Web and click Connect.
  6. Enter a name for your pixel and click Create Pixel.

Part 2: Get your pixel code

  1. In Events Manager, select the pixel you just created.
  2. Click Continue Pixel Setup.
  3. Select Meta Pixel and click Connect.
  4. Choose Install Code Manually.
  5. Click Copy Code to copy the full pixel script.

Part 3: Send the code to Luxury Presence

Once installed, verify the pixel is working using the Meta Pixel Helper Chrome extension or by checking Events Manager in your Meta Business Suite.

Why can't I install the pixel myself?

Luxury Presence installs tracking pixels on your behalf to ensure the code is correctly placed across all pages, including the Home Search Tool. Send us the code and we'll handle the technical implementation.

What if I already have a pixel installed but want to verify it?

Where did my pixel go in Business Manager?

Meta moved pixel management from Business Manager to Events Manager → Data Sources (or Meta Business Suite → Data Sources → Datasets). Your pixel and historical data haven't been lost.
