Overview

Social Media Management is a done-for-you service that maintains a consistent, professional social media presence on your behalf — without the time and effort of planning, writing, and posting content yourself. Luxury Presence publishes two to three posts per week to your connected Instagram and Facebook accounts, every week, regardless of whether you have an active listing.

How to use Social Media Management

Connect your social accounts

Before you can use Social Media Management, you'll need to connect your Facebook Business account to the Presence® Platform.

1. Navigate to the Presence® Platform.
2. In the left-hand menu, click Marketing to expand the submenu, then select Social Media.
3. Click Connect your social accounts.
4. Sign in to your Facebook Business account and authorize your social media profiles when prompted. Once complete, you'll be routed back to the Presence® Platform automatically.

Note: You must be logged in to the Facebook Business account that manages the social profiles you want to connect.

To connect Instagram, your account must be set up as a Professional or Creator account and must be linked to a Facebook Page. Personal Instagram accounts cannot be connected. You can switch to a Professional account in the Instagram app under Settings > Account > Switch to Professional Account, then link it to your Facebook Page through Meta Business settings.

Access the Social Hub

All Social Media Management activity lives in the Social Hub — this is where you review, edit, approve, skip, and track your posts.

1. Navigate to the Presence® Platform.
2. In the left-hand menu, click Marketing to expand the submenu, then select Social Media.

The Social Hub is divided into two sections:

• Posts ready for your approval (top) — drafts that are ready for your review
• Your posts (bottom) — posts that have been approved and are scheduled or already published

Review and edit a draft post

Draft posts appear under Posts ready for your approval. Click Details to open a post and make edits, or click Approve directly if you're happy with it as-is.

Edit with AI

The primary way to edit a post is by describing your changes in plain language using the AI prompt. At the bottom of the post, you'll see a box that says Describe what you want changed — click it, type your request, and click the arrow to submit. For example: "Change the first slide to an exterior of the front of the home."

After the AI updates the post:

• If you're happy with the result, click Approve
• If you want to refine it further, click Make changes — this reopens the prompt field so you can describe your next adjustment
• If you don't like the result at all, click Undo to revert to the original creative and start the prompt again

Tip: You can go through as many rounds of prompting as you need before approving.

Edit the caption manually

To edit the caption without using the AI prompt, hover over the caption in the post preview — a Change caption button will appear. Click the caption itself (not the button) to open the caption editing pop-up, where you can edit the text manually or click Regenerate to have AI rewrite it. Click Save Changes when done.

Note: If you have both Instagram and Facebook connected, click Facebook preview in the top-right corner of the preview panel to review and edit the Facebook version separately.

Change the images

To swap or reorder images in a carousel post, hover over the image at the top of the post preview — a Change/reorder images button will appear. Click it (or the current image) to open the Change Images panel.

• Selected (left) shows the images currently in the post
• Available (right) shows all images you can choose from

To remove an image, uncheck it on the right or click the X on the left. To reorder images, drag and drop using the grip icon on the right side of each selected image. Click Save when you're done.

Note: You cannot upload additional images in this panel. You can only select from or reorder the images already available.

Approve a post

Once you've made all your changes, click Approve. The post moves to the Your posts section with a status of Scheduled.

Skip or decline a draft post

There is no Decline button in Social Media Management — to decline a draft post, simply do not approve it. Unapproved drafts are never published. If a post is no longer relevant (for example, a listing that has an accepted offer), you can safely leave it unapproved and it will not go live.

Tip: Unapproved drafts remain visible in Posts ready for your approval until you take action. Drafts you don't want will not be posted as long as you don't approve them.

Cancel a scheduled post

If you've already approved a post and need to stop it from going live, you can cancel it as long as it hasn't published yet.

1. Navigate to the Presence® Platform.
2. In the left-hand menu, click Marketing to expand the submenu, then select Social Media.
3. Scroll to the Your posts section and locate the scheduled post you want to cancel.
4. Click on the post to open it.
5. Click Cancel post to remove it from the schedule.

Important: Canceling a scheduled post removes it permanently — it will not reappear in your drafts queue.

Pause Social Media Management

You can pause Social Media Management at any time directly from your plan settings — no need to contact support. Pausing stops new posts from being generated and scheduled until you turn it back on.

1. Navigate to the Presence® Platform.
2. Click your name or initials in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen.
3. Select Settings from the menu.
4. Click Your Plan.
5. Scroll to the AI Services section at the bottom of the page.
6. Toggle the Social Media Management setting off to pause, or on to resume.

Note: Pausing stops new posts from being drafted or scheduled. Posts that have already been approved and are scheduled will not be affected — cancel those individually if needed. See Cancel a scheduled post above.

FAQs

Can I pause Social Media Management without contacting support?

Yes — you can pause Social Media Management at any time from Settings → Your Plan → AI Services. Toggle the Social Media Management setting off to pause and on to resume. Posts already approved and scheduled will not be affected — cancel those individually if needed.

How do I edit a draft post before approving it?

You can edit a draft post in three ways. The primary method is the AI prompt — at the bottom of the post, click the Describe what you want changed box, type your request, and click the arrow to submit. You can also hover over the caption to access Change caption for manual edits, or hover over the image carousel to access Change/reorder images to swap or reorder images.

What happens after I submit an AI prompt?

After submitting a prompt, the AI will update the post based on your description. You can then approve the result, click Make changes to refine it with another prompt, or click Undo to revert to the original creative and start again.

How do I decline a post I don't want to go out?

To decline a draft post, simply do not approve it — there is no separate Decline button. Nothing is published without your explicit approval, so an unapproved draft will never go live. If you've already approved a post and need to stop it, see Cancel a scheduled post above.

What if I accidentally approved a post?

You can cancel an approved post as long as it hasn't been published yet. Navigate to Marketing → Social Media, find the post in Your posts with a status of Scheduled, click on it, and select Cancel post. Once a post has been published, it cannot be undone from within the Presence® Platform.

Will anything be posted without my approval?

Nothing is published automatically. If you don't review and approve your drafts, no posts will go live.

Which plans include Social Media Management?

Social Media Management is available on the Scale and All In plans, or as an add-on to Launch and Brand plans. Contact our support team if you'd like to add it to your account.

What happens if I don't review my drafts for a week?

Your drafts remain available until you review them. If the intended scheduled date passes, new content will be created for your upcoming schedule so you have fresh posts ready when you return. Nothing is published without your approval.

Can I connect more than one Facebook or Instagram account?

Social Media Management supports one Facebook account and one Instagram account at a time. If you have multiple Meta Business accounts, only one of each can be connected. The same content will be posted to both connected profiles.

Are posts generated in languages other than English?

Posts are currently generated in English only. If this is something you'd like to see supported in the future, let our support team know — your feedback helps shape future product updates.

How do I disconnect my social accounts?

To disconnect a connected social account, contact our support team and we'll take care of it for you.

I don't see Social Media Management in my account — why?

Social Media Management is available on the Scale and All In plans, or as an add-on. Only Admin users can see the Social Media tab. Contact our support team to check your plan or enable the add-on.

Why can't I connect my Instagram account?

Instagram accounts must meet two requirements before they can be connected: the account must be a Professional or Creator account (not a personal account), and it must be linked to a Facebook Page. To switch your account type, open the Instagram app and go to Settings > Account > Switch to Professional Account. Once switched, link the account to your Facebook Page through Meta Business settings, then return to the Presence® Platform to complete the connection.

Why haven't any posts been generated yet?

Social Media Management requires your website to be live before posts can be created. The platform uses your published site to understand your brand, tone, and listing content — drafts won't appear in your queue until after your site launches. Once your site is live, posts will begin generating within the first week. If your site is live and you still don't see any drafts after one week, contact our support team.

What's the difference between Social Media Management and Listing Ads?

Social Media Management and Listing Ads are two separate products. Social Media Management publishes organic posts directly to your Instagram and Facebook profiles as part of your plan or add-on. Listing Ads are paid advertising campaigns that run on Facebook and Instagram, charged per campaign when launched. Both are accessible under Marketing in the Presence® Platform, but they operate independently and require separate setup.

Can I see how my posts are performing?

Analytics and performance data for Social Media Management — such as impressions, clicks, and engagement — are not currently available in the Presence® Platform. If this is something you'd like to see added, let our support team know.

What should I do if a listing I've approved a post for goes under contract?

If a listing post has been approved but the property is no longer available, cancel it before it publishes. Navigate to Marketing → Social Media, find the post in Your posts with a status of Scheduled, click on it, and select Cancel post. If the post has already been published, no action is needed — it will not be automatically reposted. For future drafts about that listing, simply leave them unapproved and they will not go live.

Can I upload my own images to a draft post?

You cannot upload additional images directly in the Change Images panel — you can only select from or reorder the images already available for that post. If you'd like to use specific images in your social posts, contact our support team and we can look into options for your account.
