What does the Insights tab show for my presentations?

Understand what the Visitors, Sessions, and completion rate metrics on your presentation's Insights tab mean.

Important: This feature is only available on desktop. It is not accessible through the Luxury Presence Mobile App.

Overview

Every presentation has its own Insights tab that shows how clients are engaging with it — including how many people have viewed it, how many times it's been opened, and how much of it they actually viewed.

How to view your presentation's Insights

  1. Navigate to the Presence® Platform.
  2. In the left-hand menu, click Presentations.
  3. Click the presentation you want to view insights for.
  4. Select Insights.

What the Insights tab tracks

Visitors

Visitors counts the number of unique people who've opened your presentation, tracked per device. If the same device opens the presentation again, it doesn't count as a new visitor.

Sessions

Sessions counts the number of separate viewing periods your presentation has had. Each time someone opens and interacts with your presentation counts as one session.

Average completion rate

Average completion rate shows the average percentage of your presentation viewed across all sessions. For example, if a presentation has four sessions with completion rates of 50%, 25%, 100%, and 75%, the average completion rate would be 62.5%.

Note: Your average completion rate is also shown alongside your market average, so you can see how your presentation's engagement compares.

What does "Visitors" mean on the Insights tab?

Visitors is the number of unique people who've opened your presentation, counted per device — repeat visits from the same device don't count as new visitors.

What counts as a session on the Insights tab?

A session is a single continuous period during which someone opens and interacts with your presentation. The Sessions count reflects the total number of these viewing periods.

How is average completion rate calculated?

Average completion rate is the average percentage of your presentation viewed across all sessions. For example, four sessions with completion rates of 50%, 25%, 100%, and 75% would produce an average completion rate of 62.5%.

Can I see exactly which person viewed my presentation?

Not directly — viewers don't log in, so individual identities aren't tracked. Since each presentation has its own unique share link, though, you can tell which client viewed it based on which link you sent them.
