Customize how your CRM integration handles lead activity events — filter, rename, and route events to match your workflow.

Overview

The Events page, found under Settings in the Presence® Platform, allows you to customize how lead activity events are sent to your connected CRM or email marketing integration. By default, your integration sends all standard events automatically. The Events page gives you control over which events are sent, what they're called, and where they go — without changing your core integration setup.

Note: If your integration is working as expected and you don't need to customize event behavior, you do not need to use this page at all.

Key use cases

  • Filter events — Limit which lead activity events are sent to your integration (e.g., your CRM sends 10 event types but you only want 8 to flow through)
  • Rename or remap events — Change how an event is labeled when it arrives in your CRM (e.g., remap "Listing View" to a custom tag name in Follow Up Boss)
  • Route events to mailing lists — For SendGrid integrations, automatically add leads who trigger a specific event to a designated mailing list

Which integrations support the Events page?

The Events page works with several direct CRM and email marketing integrations supported by Luxury Presence — not just Follow Up Boss. For a full list of supported integrations, refer to our Help Center or contact our support team.

How to access the Events page

  1. Navigate to the Presence® Platform.
  2. Click your name or initials in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen.
  3. Select Settings from the menu.
  4. Click Events from the left-hand Settings menu.

How to customize your event settings

Once on the Events page, you can:

  1. Review the event list — You'll see all lead activity events associated with your connected integration. Pre-loaded events may already appear based on your integration setup.
  2. Enable or disable events — Toggle events on or off to control which ones are sent to your integration.
  3. Edit event mappings — Click on an event to rename it or map it to a specific tag, label, or mailing list in your connected platform.
  4. Save your changes — Confirm any edits before navigating away.

Note: The Events page overrides the default behavior of your integration. Changes made here take effect for new activity going forward — they do not retroactively update past events.

Do I need to set this up myself?

You can configure the Events page on your own. However, if you'd prefer to have Luxury Presence handle the setup, contact our support team and we'll take care of the implementation for you.

What's the difference between the Events page and my standard CRM integration?

Your standard CRM integration sends lead activity events automatically using default settings.
