Answer

What is the Events page in Settings used for?

Customize how your CRM integration handles lead activity events — filter which events sync and configure Follow Up Boss event tags.

Important: This feature is only available on desktop. It is not accessible through the Luxury Presence Mobile App.

Overview

Most agents don't need to touch this page — your default integration setup already handles standard events correctly. The Events page, found under Settings in the Presence® Platform, lets you customize how lead activity events are sent to your connected CRM or email marketing integration. By default, your integration sends all standard events automatically. The Events page gives you control over which events are sent, and for Follow Up Boss integrations, lets you configure event tags — without changing your core integration setup.

Note: If your integration is working as expected, you don't need to use this page at all — it's only for agents who want to customize event behavior beyond the defaults.

Key use cases

Filter events — Limit which lead activity events sync to your integration (e.g., your CRM sends 10 event types but you only want 8 to flow through)
Configure event tags (Follow Up Boss only) — Apply tags inside Follow Up Boss to categorize leads by event type, such as Seller or Buyer

Note: Event types themselves are predefined and can't be renamed or customized. For more advanced event routing — such as filtering by a specific page or applying custom logic — Zapier integrations offer additional flexibility beyond what the Events page supports natively.

Which integrations support the Events page?

The Events page works with several direct CRM and email marketing integrations — not just Follow Up Boss. See What CRM integrations does Luxury Presence support? for the full list.

How to access the Events page

Navigate to the Presence® Platform.
Click your name or initials in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen.
Select Settings from the menu.
Click Events from the left-hand Settings menu.

How to customize your event settings

Once on the Events page, you can:

Review the event list — You'll see all lead activity events associated with your connected integration. Pre-loaded events may already appear based on your integration setup.
Enable or disable events — Toggle events on or off to control which ones are sent to your integration.
Configure event tags (Follow Up Boss only) — For Follow Up Boss integrations, click on an event to apply an Event Tag that categorizes leads by that event type.
Save your changes — Confirm any edits before navigating away.

Note: The Events page overrides the default behavior of your integration. Changes made here take effect for new activity going forward — they do not retroactively update past events.

Do I need to set this up myself?

You can configure the Events page on your own. However, if you'd prefer to have Luxury Presence handle the setup, contact our support team and we'll take care of the implementation for you:

FAQs

Do most agents need to use the Events page?

No, most agents never need to open the Events page. Your default CRM or email marketing integration already sends standard lead activity events automatically. The Events page is only relevant if you want to filter which events sync, or configure event tags for a Follow Up Boss integration.

What's the difference between the Events page and my standard CRM integration?

Your standard CRM integration sends lead activity events automatically using default settings. The Events page lets you override those defaults — filtering which events sync, and for Follow Up Boss integrations, configuring event tags. If the default setup meets your needs, you don't need to make any changes in Events.

Can I rename or relabel events in the Events page?

No, event types are predefined and can't be renamed or customized. For Follow Up Boss integrations, you can apply Event Tags to categorize leads by event type, but the event type names themselves can't be changed.

Will the Events page affect my existing integration?

Yes, any changes you make on the Events page override the default integration behavior. If your integration is currently working as expected, it is best to leave this page unchanged unless you have a specific customization in mind.

Why do I see pre-loaded events in the Events page?

Pre-loaded events are the default events your integration is configured to send. They appear automatically based on which CRM or platform is connected to your account. You can enable, disable, or tag these as needed.

Is the Events page only for Follow Up Boss?

No, the Events page works with several direct integrations, not just Follow Up Boss. The available event types and configuration options will vary depending on which platform is connected to your account. See What CRM integrations does Luxury Presence support? for the full list.

What if I need more advanced event routing than the Events page provides?

For more advanced routing — such as filtering by a specific page or applying custom logic — Zapier integrations offer additional flexibility beyond what the Events page supports natively.
