It's more common than you might think — domains often get set up during a busy onboarding period and the registrar details get lost over time. Luxury Presence doesn't always have your domain registration information on file, but you can find it yourself using a free WHOIS lookup tool.

How to find your domain registrar

1. Go to whois.com/whois.
2. Enter your domain name in the search bar and run the search.
3. Scroll to the Registrar Information section in the results.
4. Look for the field labeled Registrar — that's the company your domain is registered through.

Common registrars include GoDaddy, Namecheap, Google Domains, Network Solutions, and Squarespace. If you see one of these in the Registrar field, that's who holds your domain registration.

Why doesn't Luxury Presence have my domain registrar information on file?

Domains are often registered before or during onboarding, sometimes through a third-party provider or a previous web vendor. Because Luxury Presence doesn't manage domain registration directly, that information isn't always captured in your account. The WHOIS lookup at whois.com/whois will always have the current registrar on record.

What is a domain registrar?

A domain registrar is the company you purchased and registered your domain name through. Common registrars include GoDaddy, Namecheap, Google Domains, Network Solutions, and Squarespace. Your registrar is where you'll log in to manage DNS settings, transfer your domain, or renew your registration.
