Why aren't my property photos syncing to my website in Presence®?

Overview

If photos for a property listing aren't appearing on your website, the most common causes are MLS feed limitations, sync delays, or image sync settings in the Presence® Platform.

Common causes and fixes

MLS sync delay

Updates from the MLS can take several hours to process. It's normal to see a delay of up to 24 hours after a listing is updated. If photos haven't appeared after 24–48 hours, contact our support team to request a manual sync.

Image Sync is disabled

Check that Image Sync is enabled for the property in Content → Properties. If Image Sync has been toggled off, MLS photos will not sync. See [How to upload custom images for MLS-synced property listings in Presence®] for details on this setting.

MLS compression and file size limits

Many MLS boards compress images or impose file size restrictions before syncing. If synced images are low quality, you can turn off Image Sync for that property and manually upload higher-resolution versions. See [How to upload custom images for MLS-synced property listings in Presence®].

MLS provider-specific rules

Some MLS boards limit the number of images that can be synced or have unique rules about which file types are supported. If you believe photos should be syncing but aren't, contact our support team to review your MLS feed configuration.

Platform differences

Sites like Redfin may display different images than what's available through your MLS feed. This is normal — different platforms pull from MLS data in different ways and doesn't indicate a problem with your Presence® website.

How long should I wait before contacting support about missing photos?

Wait at least 24–48 hours after a listing update before contacting support, as MLS sync delays are common. If photos still haven't appeared after that window, reach out.

Can I use my own photos instead of MLS-synced images?
