How to turn Google Sign-On on or off for your website and what it captures when visitors use it.

Overview

Google Sign-On adds a one-click option for visitors to share their contact information using their Google account — capturing their name and email as a lead instantly without requiring them to fill out a form.

Note: Clicking the Google Sign-On button does not sign visitors into your Home Search Tool or create an account for them. It only sends their name and email to you as a lead.

How to enable or disable Google Sign-On

1. Navigate to the Presence® Platform.
2. Click Websites from the left-hand menu, then hover over the site you want to edit and select the pen icon.
3. Click the three-dots icon in the top navigation bar next to Edit.
4. Select Site Settings from the dropdown.
5. In the left-hand panel, click Google Sign-On.
6. Toggle the switch to enable or disable Google Sign-On.
7. Click Save.
8. Click the X in the top-right corner to exit back to the Website Builder.

What to know about Google Sign-On

• What it captures — the visitor's name and email address. After clicking Continue as [name], visitors are optionally prompted to provide their phone number as well  
• Lead logging — visitors who use Google Sign-On are logged as leads in your Presence® Platform
• No MLS or LP registration — Google Sign-On does not register visitors with Luxury Presence or any MLS, and does not sign them into the Home Search Tool
• AI Lead Nurture — AI Lead Nurture won't activate for a lead until a phone number is added to their profile. Visitors who skip the optional phone number step will need to have their number added manually
• No customization — Google controls the appearance of the sign-in prompt. The language and display name cannot be changed

FAQs

Does Google Sign-On replace the standard sign-up form?

No. Google Sign-On is an additional option alongside your standard forms. Visitors can choose to use Google Sign-On or fill out a traditional form.

Why isn't AI Lead Nurture activating for leads who used Google Sign-On?

AI Lead Nurture requires a phone number to send SMS follow-ups. Leads who use Google Sign-On only provide their name and email unless they complete the optional phone number prompt. Add a phone number to their contact profile manually to activate AI Lead Nurture. See [What is AI Lead Nurture in Presence®?].

Can I customize the Google Sign-On prompt?

No. The appearance, language, and display name of the Google Sign-On prompt are controlled by Google and cannot be changed.
