Social media links in your website footer are managed through Global Elements, so any changes apply site-wide across every page automatically.

How to update footer social media links

1. Navigate to the Presence® Platform.
2. Click Websites from the left-hand menu, then hover over the site you want to edit and select the pen icon.
3. In the white top navigation bar, click the Global Elements icon (four dots).
4. Select Footer from the left-hand menu.
5. Scroll to the Social Links section.
6. Make your changes — see options below.
7. Click Save in the bottom-left corner.

Changes apply site-wide immediately.

Adding a new social link

1. Click the + icon next to Social Links.
2. Use the Type dropdown to select the social platform (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
3. Enter the full URL in the Link field.
4. Click the back arrow to return to the Footer settings.
5. Click Save in the bottom-left corner.

Managing existing links

To reorder links: Click and hold the six-dots icon next to the link and drag it to the desired position.

To remove a link: Click the trash can icon next to the link.

Click Save in the bottom-left corner after making changes.

Yes. Footer social links are managed through Global Elements, so any changes apply to the footer on every page of your website automatically.

What URL format should I use for social links?

Can I add social platforms not listed in the Type dropdown?

No. Only the platforms available in the Type dropdown can be added to the footer social links.
