A guide to the main tools and controls available in the Presence® Website Builder.

Overview

The Website Builder in the Presence® Platform is where you create, edit, and manage your website. It gives you full control over page layouts, global elements, and site-wide styles.

How to open the Website Builder

Navigate to the Presence® Platform.
Click Websites from the left-hand menu.
Hover over the website you want to edit and select the pen icon.

Located in the top-left corner. Use it to view and switch between existing pages, or add a new page.

Top bar — center icons

Icon	What it does
Pages	Edit individual pages on your site
Global Elements	Update site-wide components — header, footer, menus, and contact forms
Website Styles	Manage global design settings — typography, buttons, colors, and branding

Edit	Enables editing mode for page elements
Phone icon	Toggle between desktop and mobile views
Arrow icon	Opens your live website in a new browser tab

Reorder Elements	Rearrange elements within a page using drag-and-drop
Page Settings	Update SEO details for the current page — page name, URL path, SEO title, canonical URL, description, and SEO image

What's the difference between Global Elements and Website Styles?

Global Elements controls site-wide components that appear on every page — such as the header, footer, and navigation menus. Website Styles controls the visual design settings — fonts, colors, buttons, and branding — that apply across the entire site. What's the difference between Show Preview and the arrow icon?

The arrow icon opens your live website in a new browser tab — this shows the currently published version. Show Preview (in the three-dots menu) lets you view unpublished changes as visitors would see them before you save.

What is the difference between Page Settings and Website Styles for SEO?
